Executive Engineer is very important even in state PWD . Emmense pressure ( political & administrative) . Departmental proceedings are bound to happen sgsinst pwd EE ( stste) . EE has to deal with DM / district judge / high court judge / MLA/MLC/ MP / MINISTER & CM visiting the district. All disaster management works are executed by state EE with DM / Divisional commissioners / ministers incharge of district & departmental minister . Action is bound to happen against pwd EE . So cpwd is much easier than pwd as compared to political / judicial / public & bureaucratic ( ias ) interference .

Thats not true. You get salary as per 7th cpc. Irrespective of what work u do. Thats one of the biggest problem in government setup. There is no monetary incentive for doing more work.

Yes you will be posted in New Delhi till you are in planning unit. But any tenure will be for 3 to 4 years max. Afterwards you will be transferred. At senior positions, you may be posed for a long time in different planning positions

If you have prepared for the subjects of the exam in your bachelors and masters the. You should try for it. For getting cpwd you will have to secure good ranks as it is most sought after department. Do check my other videos, you will get to know about working of cpwd. And then u may decide on it. If you haven’t prepared before and thinking of starting afresh, it is going to take a little longer time. About 2 to 3 years to crack Ies with good rank. Decide aptly
