I agree sir levi with your thoughts on hilux. For those people na gusto bumili, don’t buy a hilux if pang pasok-pasok mo lang di masarap sa pakiramdam or pang family. But if u r going to use it for business or off-roading one of the best choice for sure. 👍

I wish we get Hilux here in North America. The only thing i dont like bout it are the grey plastic looking fender around the wheel well...makes it kinda look cheap in my opinion. Shouldve at least colour match it.

It will definitely last for decades..ikaw na ang susuko sa knya😄 I have a 99 Revo GLX MT and we just recently used it to Baguio with 6 heavy weighted adults 😂 ez pz! Easier and cheap to maintain lalo na tumataas bilihin ngayon. You want a car na reliable and hindi sakit sa ulo and bulsa.

Ill still pick the Toyota hilux over other pick up brands. Dont care if others have more tech and comfort. It will still take you to the destination. Its not always about that, its about the Reliability. Toyota is Toyota. You can't go wrong with a Toyota. It will last you a lifetime. Also when upgrading, suspension, wheels etc it looks more good especially on a hilux compared to other pick ups. It has the JDM look. Put some TEs and BFGs. Tama ka jan , ako rin mas piliin ko itong Hilux kasi mas matibay, walang sakit ulo at hind ka masiraan sa daan, hind ko kailangan yan mga tech tech features na yan, wala rin akong pakialam kong matagtag, tagal nkong nag dradrive ng fortuner since 2016 , ok nmn sa long drive na 6 hours.

Yan ang binigay sa inyong mindset ng toyota kahit tinipid kayo sa rekado mahalaga nakakain kayo parang ganyan ang sinasabi mo mahalaga nakakain kahit luge. Great review Sir Levi. Ang problem dito sa Hilux overpriced yet underspec’d. Para sa price nya wala man lang Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear aircon vent, Leather seats and Powered Driver seat adjustment. Tapos need mo pa gumastos ng more or less 100k agad para sa suspension upgrade.

Navara is coil spring at the back but its cargo weight capacity is much higher than that of Conquest though it uses leaf spring.

as a Toyota owner for 9yrs now.. ang masasabi ko lng na sirain sa Toyota eh Tensioner, Alternator bearing at water pump...laging yang tatlo ang nauuna based on our Wigo 2017, Vios 2019, Forty 2016 at Innova 2013 then the rest of parts pang wasakan na tlga.

Medyo hirap ako maintain kasi lagi maalikabok what would you recommend? Iniisip ko po kase kung kada weekly ko nlang sya carwash then araw araw ko nlang babasain ng tubig using hose pero di ko ppunasan. Babasain lang talaga

You are on target meron akong 4Runner and Tacoma sa states and believe it or not these vehicles were proven. I drive hundred of miles everyday in the interstates because of my job and these “ babies” never give me problems . The Tacoma ( Hilux sa Pinas) got 265,000 miles or about 429, 000 km 👍 never had a hiccup parang and drive nya ay noong kabibili ko 👌 I probably get a Hilux fo my service sa Manila .. sold ako😁 great day my brother

Ang pinag-iipunan ko talaga ay ang Toyota Hilux J 2.4 (4x4) manual transmission. While I like the Conquest, I don't find it getting good value-for-money. Kung may G variant lang dito sa Pilipinas na may 2.8 displacement at 4x4 drivetrain, I'd acquire it with haste. Mabuti pa sa Australia, may 4x4 G variant sila.

Sir meron pong 4x4 G variant before 2.8 displacement bukod sa conquest. If I am not mistaken, 2016-2019 or 2016-2020 pero 2nd hand nalang po mabbili mo. 2021 onwards na G variant is 4x2 nalang.

Sir what are your thoughts between this Conquest VS Navara VL. I have the same sentiments with the rest of your followers, it seems the price is too steep for something that is not leather seats, power seats etc. We all know that Toyota is reliable and built like a tank, but there are other competitors that is also reliable but can give you more in terms of comfort and added features. I guess its really a matter of will you sacrifice the above mentioned for the brand and for the cult following, as they say, iba tlga pag naka Toyota ka.
