I used to supervise at our son's elementary school at lunch time, it amazed me how the older students would eat the noodles without cooking them. Throw the flavor on and just eat them dry, even though the classroom had a microwave. Yummy recipe, would be a cheat treat for us, having to watch our sodium intake!

Keen to try this. I already added lemon and lemon zest to tour pantry pasta with crispy egg because I had a can of chilli & lemon zest tuna and it was 🤤 delicious. I’ve done the recipe again with regular tuna and I preferred it with lemon zest but didn’t have chilli lemon zest tuna so I just grated lemon zest and lemon juice. If you haven’t tried the pantry pasta this way give it a go. It’s magnificent.

To all my friends out there who have questions on miso paste or worried about the saltiness of the dish: there are a variety of miso paste and depending on what you buy will dictate how salty it is. I used Shiro Miso Soybean Paste (White) and it came out beautifully. There is an awesome video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/i2rIZWyJZaeUgLc that breaks it down so you know which to buy. You can find them at local Asian grocery stores and possibly some other grocery stores. They're stored cool. Also, if you plan on using the red seasoning packet like Marion did to top it off, use it sparingly because the salt level is high. Too much will also hide all the great flavors from this recipe ;) Hope this helps and happy cooking!
