I use my Fuji XT20 as a Widelux camera many times. I love panoramic images and vintage look photos. You can take amazing B&W panoramic images with Fuji X cameras.

I rarely like people's B&W film sims, but this one gets the most important aspect (imho) _right:_ Of course you want to compress the highlights like film, but for me the secret of, say, the Tri-X look is all in the distrubution of the darks. This recipe brings up the 'low-mids' (I use the audio freguency term) up to a friendly discernability, while keeping the density of the blackest areas, so the needed contrast & _punch_ of B&W film is retained.

Hey the XT-1 has the first sensor which unfortunately has no DR400 function. So I'm afraid this will not work as I thought. sorry. But you can check out goughie here on youtube or fuji x weekly.
