Is there anyone else watching that's worked as a waitress, barista or sales associate and just love when people complain about their feet hurting after standing for x hours? Waitress: lowkey running constantly for six hours? Every weekend. Barista: On your feet for four ten-hour shifts in a week? Normal. Sales associate: 14 hour shift of nonstop standing and walking on concrete? Not an oddity, but a regular occurrence. Sore feet aside, Tati, your positivity and go-get attitude is absolutely inspiring!
@CaraStrong138 жыл бұрын
I think the worst for me was being a sales associate for a clothing store. The concrete floors did a number on my feet and I couldn't wear Nikes or anything because they weren't fashion forward enough! I have a very physically demanding job now but since I can wear gym wear it doesn't bother me nearly as bad

As one of your older viewers (older than you by a number of years) I can totally appreciate your origin story Tati. I also grew up in a broken home with not much $$, and left home at a young age (19) but I had been working since I was 12. I had newspaper routes and babysitting gigs as a teenager, worked in the kitchen of a dive restaurant at 15, then had the opportunity to take a course offered by the government on how to prepare for the job market (how to write a resume, prep for job interviews, etc.) At 16 I got my first part time payroll job working in a boutique for elderly women at $5/hour. From there I moved to 3 other jobs in retail, all while finishing college and starting university (with tons of student loans to help). There were weeks where I worked only 3 hours all week, and times were tough (and hungry!) But I stuck it out, and now all these years later I have a senior position in marketing for a Fortune 500 company, and I am okay with that :) So to all your younger viewers, stick with your dreams, and when the going gets tough, remember, it is temporary and one day, you will have your own amazing origin story to share! Huge hugs!

Dear Tati, I am a normal girl from Europe that 2 days ago broke up with her boyfriend because he was just the one you were describing in the video. You know how the first days pass: horrible. So I was standin today in my bed and listening to your story of how we should believe in ourselves and take the good from the bad and turn into an experience. You made me open my eyes! You made me clean my tears from my eyes and start thinking that it was not my fault that his eyes couldn't appreciate what I had to offer. So, I know the video is about jobs but that part spoke to me. And YES, I would love hearing your experience. I always thought you and James are made for each other. I am now where you used to be and I truly wish I am going to find my James someday. For these reasons I would like you to do that video and I would like to thank you. The help that I needed, the push, came from where I wasn't even thinking it would come!

"You need your James? LOL Do you not get that he called off their wedding saying they were going to elope, but didn't LOL. I think it's so funny that you guys idealize things you say just because they're on the internet. Clearly she and James have issues and he does not want to get married to her. They called off their wedding. That was over a year ago and they did not elope... still with no plans to marry whatsoever still now almost two years later and what three years after the engagement / proposal. .or has it been 4 years by now? This is not a relationship to idolize. Just because you see James being sweet in front of the camera for 30 seconds here or there ain'tsweet does not mean that they are good. Obviously. You guys should use your head. don't be idealistic or ignorant when the facts speak for themselves. If you wanted to marry her or if they wanted to be married they would be by now. he did propose many many years ago by now and cancelled the wedding long ago.
@madalinaioana80538 жыл бұрын
look, i don't consider myself idealistic or ignorant. first of all i like him for those 30 seconds or more, because he is there, present. and he supports her and her passions. it is normal to have problems in a relationship and i never assumed that they are an exception. keep that in mind. and second of all, who are we to judge. maybe they consider a wedding is not necessare. they are engaged, they live the moment together and that is all they need. i don't even care about the 'wedding issue'. and you know what...everything that i have said in my comment is a story. mine. you just picked one line and started to comment about that. well, wrong. every thought has a background, a stroy. so is mine. so before starting to judge and to prove that ignorance exists in critical words, try to read the story first. i never had the support of someone, even for those 30 seconds. it is ok at the beggining and in the end you find out that all that time matters and you end up with insecurities. so whatever you say or think, i still would like a james that creates that kind of proposals.
@magnified1018 жыл бұрын

Sam, speak for yourself. I've met a ton of guys who have said that they would love to be with a wealthy woman. If he knew who she became, I would find it hard to believe that he wouldn't be kicking himself in the head
@liverpool2sex7 жыл бұрын
What they (Men) say and what they actually do are 2 totally different things. If she had gone out with the Starbucks guy she would have gone down a different path and would possibly not even be on You Tube etc? Who knows what Tati would be doing now? He probably can't even remember her so I find it hard to believe he would be kicking himself. I like to think everything happens for a reason and just live and enjoy life. Your life is already marked out for you from the moment you are born (or even conceived) So don't think 'if only' OR 'What if' etc as it's gone so don't dwell on it look to the future and now and enjoy everything (even the bad) as it is all a learning curve x

This video just made me realize that actually people are not what they look like sometimes. I'll be honest and say that the way you carry yourself always made me think you were born in a wealthy family, and just landed on youtube because you didn't need to work on the side. I like that I'm wrong and I thank you for making this video. Just a reminder that anyone can be in a great place, if they work their butts off. I'm 25 and still working one of those awefull jobs. This just gave me the vision and the empowerment. My age doesn't matter. My dreams and my willing to pursue them are the only important thing.

I actually think I made it private so EBSCO would sue me. LOL. It's super easy. If you're not good of just going off like Grav3yard girl get a script or a card with the points you want to make and go off that. It's not easy to get millions of subscribers. Ok so I usually never comment on KZbin videos of any kind, but I just finished watching this and I have tears in my eyes. I've been struggling a lot in life when it comes to school and work and other things, and seeing how far you have come in 30 or so years, makes me so happy and truly inspired. You are someone I look up to so much and hearing your stories about your struggles and how much you've been able to overcome, I could not be more in awe. Thank you for sharing all of your experiences with your viewers, and making content that I, and 2 million + others love to watch. I'd love to hear more personal stories about your life, so I am definitely here for these kinds of videos. You are absolutely incredible, and talented, and please never stop being you.

also I find it very important thing to me to know a little about the person I'm watching so I really like that you chose and choose to share with us a little about YOU as a person outside of the products you review. this already helped established a relationship with you and the watcher that helped me personally understand you better. so thank you so much for being willing. it's not easy to talk about your past publicly, expecaly with your very big audience.

She has mentioned a few times that he is an entrepreneur and creates his own business. My guess is that he comes up with good ideas for businesses and then sells them.

This was absolutely exactly what I needed to hear right now. I've worked so many jobs already and I'm in a current rut back at my parent's house. Thanks for the inspiration Tati. I loved hearing your stories.

I also work as a bartender. Usually at clubs which I loooove. I'm good at dealing with drunk people I guess lol. But I was fired from my last job because I hurt my back doing someone else's work there and when I couldn't work for a month, they fired me which is illegal. But whatever.

Go back to her first few videos and watch the marriage proposal. They talk about how they met. And you'll also get to watch an AWESOME proposal. James did good....real good.

LOVED THIS SO MUCH! You were SO speaking to me right now. Find myself currently at a weird place with grown children, going through a divorce, but not even 40 yet where I'm deciding whether to take a huge leap into a new chapter doing something I've been passionate about....Really motivating. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing a little bit of your life with us!! This was fun and interesting. Will you please do a video of how you met James? I remember watching the video where he proposed and I thought that was such a cute proposal. I actually found your channel thru the Allure magazine competition and your dry brushing technique? I don't remember how long ago that was! Anyway, I admire for being such a hard worker and a hustler (in the best sense of the word), I hope other people can learn from that. 😊
