@@millia_honeyI had an extra journal laying around from school shopping and started putting pictures on the cover from some magazines I had (032c if you were wondering) I had planned just to keep it on the cover but I couldn’t stop. So I started cutting out pictures that intrigued me and writing about it or writing about whatever came in my mind. I also would play with the pictures I would cut out by like staggering the photo on my page and writing around it or I would leave as is. I think the best thing for you to do is collect stuff you like. As well as stuff that makes you wonder and put it on your notebook

This video really helped me.. I have been starting my first journal journey. It seemed very overwhelming at first because it felt like I had to do the same creativity as everyone else. I thought it was just being creative and making a picture, which it is, but it is much more than that. I have been overthinking what I should make and how to rearrange pieces because of being ocd. I guess that's what you call it. I like putting things together and being creative. I like looking through memories from back then. This video really helped me to understand that journalism is about you and ur life, ur different phases, and new transitions. It also helps with my mental health. The changes you have made went through. Just who you are. Thats what makes it's fun to put a journal together. Thank you so much for this video!!

I’ve had a diary off and on over the years and I’m really realizing I want to document more to hold on to the memories. It’s scary realizing I have forgotten so much from highschool now. Even though it’s almost July I got a new planner with blank space in the back and decided to start trip and monthly recaps or whatever else I want to start small, as well as use the planner in the front for my to do lists etc. I’m about to turn 25 and think this would be a great thing to start now. Wishing I had something like this from when I was 16, but it’s never too late! I love your style and will be using this in my planner. Thanks for the inspo!

I suffer from migraines and lined paper triggers them. I'm new to journalling and didn't discover this til after I spent loads of money on a reallyyy pretty lined paper journal 😅 had to buy a replacement with blank pages which was just plain black cover and not as pretty, cos I panicked. So I decorated the cover and then I was hooked. Watching journalling videos for hours 😅 also I hard agree with you on the 'journalling when you want'. When I tried to make myself journal every day, it'd be so depressing because all I would do was complain 😂

The last time I begun to keep a diary, I started using this app called My Diary in 2022 because originally when the pandemic was around I was thinking of what to do so when I gotten a new cellphone from my mom, it was the app that came to my mind to use and she paid for the pro version so I could use it fully then I used it from January through December and started over after I accidentally deleted my original entry collection and then I started writing new entries throughout the year and when 2023 came I continued until I unfortunately lost my beloved grandmother and I will be writing again in October.

my best advice is to search for a ln A4 sketchbook instead of a journal because they’ll always be blank pages 🫶🏻

I do something similar but I started scrapbooking before I started journaling so I’ve always printed pictures in bulk. If I think it’s important enough to take a picture of and keep for memories, I print it off for my scrapbook and/or my journal.
