My journey in dolls collecting / How did I become a doll collector?

You have such a gentle, beautiful soul 🥰 I'm 10 years older than you, my older brother and I used to go to the movies as kids, then go home and play-act the movies with our Barbies and GI Joes 😊 All my nieces AND nephews get dolls from me. Studies show that boys who played with dolls help make good, loving fathers as adults. Dolls help express imagination.

Aww 😂😂😂 thanks Actually, I don't know what the secret is, but I think it's genes on my mother's part, as she looks younger than her age. My brother, who is younger than me, looks a lot older than me 😅 This is something I thank my mother for 😂😂😂😂

Younan what a beautiful video, thank you so much for sharing something so personal, I too had the same story, and OMG when you mentioned the toy plastic animals I too had 100 of them and played with them for hours. I never, and wasn't allowed to have dolls, but I. Did have one male doll, I show him in my first video, if only we new each other as kids we would be best friends. Hello, my friend! Happy to see you again :) I definitely can relate everything you say. Even being a girl (well not a girl already actually, I am 38 and same vampire as you are)))) people don't understand why am I so ..ammm.. acting like a kid? Yes I working hard on my job, I provide my family, BUT things I really want to do is play with my dolls and games... any kind. I hear all the time :"When are you finally grow up?". And I keep on answer :"NEVER!!!"... It is a pretty boring to be adult, so I prefer to play, watch a cartoons, collect Panini stickers and have child behavior :) And I really REALLY don't care what people say or think. It is MY life and I gonna live it, not them. I am also don't like to be in public, just my social battery getting low because of it and I became very tired. I never bored at home or with myself. I have all the time one million things to do :) And I try to escape a reality too as much as I can... So in my opinion your are TOTALLY FINE! :)

Yes, it was a bad thing before, and even now there are people who do not understand this thing, but I no longer care or care about what people say about me anymore. The most important thing for me is that I am very happy and proud of what I do. 💪🏻😆❤❤❤

Hi Younan! 👋🏻 I just discovered you and started watching some of your videos! Then, I watched this video from 2 months back and I said to myself that I was like you, so quiet when I was a kid and I grew up like that. I had no more than 2 friends. I never had a Barbie either but different dolls I wanted one I my mom never bought me one. So, when I grew older I started collecting Barbies and fashion dolls I really like!😁 But, the real reason we like to be with our dolls is because the dolls give us “emotional support” like the animals give us! Do you notice how we get when we are with our dolls? We get so happy and we feel joyful with our surroundings! We changed! That’s us and every adult that collect them, we need to be with our dolls because they help us feel better and be a better person! I’m happier now than years before! Thank God for that right?👍🏻 And yeah, it doesn’t matter if you are a guy there are so many of you that collect dolls and love them! I follow a bunch of doll collectors guys here in KZbin! It’s so great to be living in 2024 when we can do whatever we like! I’m a cool grandma that loves my dolls and there are a bunch out there like me, as same as you the guys, yayyy!🎉 Like you said: “life is short” better to enjoy it with something as great as dolls! Doll collectors will understand you 100% 🫶🏻🙌🏻 I don’t have any friends outside of the hobby either. I much prefer my own/doll company and that of my immediate family of my daughter, husband and sister. Yes i dont drink or do d**gs either, i find those two things way worse than doll collecting!

I am satisfied that I have friends in this hobby, like you, and many of the most beautiful friends from around the world, even if I do not meet you in reality.
