Fellow Autistic here. I also like plushies, they’re a comfort for me too. I have plushies of my (human) OC’s, and they’re honestly my friends. I brought my favorite OC plushie, Henry, to therapy one time, and he really helped with the emotional baggage I had after a horrible relationship with my ex. I just wish I could bring my plushies to work again. I used to, but now we have bag checks. ._. Also!! I really like your lamb! They’re super cute. 🥺

thank you! i'm glad bringing your plushies helps you and i hope you can bring them to work again some day. having one in your bag might be considered a reasonable accommodation.

I am 36(former asperger diagnosis) and have over 400 plushies now. I love building pillowfords and i have many soft blankets and pillows. I need it i need the cozyness and colors. People dont get it. But it helps me with recharging and PTSD. It hurts when people call me lowgifted or a child or whatever but i figured its their brain that is broken for feeling weird about plushies. What i do in my home is my business. I love your plushies❤

You’re so puppy cool! Haha (seriously you are) many people in this world are afraid to live their truth to be authentic. “Love truth, pardon error” -Voltaire (I’m very puppy tired right now so bear with me as well, kinda how you were just gonna make and get your video out there irregardless) I was going to say I couldn’t remember the rest of what I wanted to say, also akin to your retrieving the journal imo (Journey?). Came to to though when I started to put the comment down, away, released etc. I like plushies too! Wait, no no that isn’t it. I love stuffed animals too! Too much to say to tired to write it (Currently). Most nights of my life if possible I’ve had a plushie (no no, haha, Stuffed Animal! Stuffed animal is my word of chose for those beings, Plushie is a good word and I’m glad that as well as an option for the many peoples beings that like that word tools. Plushies are like dogs… Your right though imo as well stuffed animals, plushies, even if they had no inherent value, they’re like free mental health boost points for anyone that keeps them around. Also at some point I (well I do know when) discovered fursuits and I think something inside me must have been like Wow wow wow wow! That’s like a giant stuffed animal, animal costume! I even saw someone wearing their fursuit inside out once so the fur was all facing in (the body suit) and they were like yeah it looks a little softener on the outside right now, and it’s absolutely amazing for me on the inside right now. Alright I’m peacing (auto correct says leaving, and it would seem I don’t know how to spell Peace - Ing at this exact moment.) I’m peaching? I’m peacing out as well, peace!

Time to go snuggle up with the stuffed animals! I wanted to watch your video in the past I saw it come up once or twice, and then added it to watch later. It wasn’t time to watch it until it was really puppy needed. Your creating something of substance and great value even if not everyone can recognize it at first. I really liked the little bit at the end of the title uh- bet you won’t watch, okay if you don’t. Kinda dares you to watch, the possibility is open it’s there if you want it, still going to leave it (the possibility) on the table and it’s also like empathic forgiving umm oh oh! It’s loving, that’s it that sounds right to me. Take what resonates and leave the rest. The bet you won’t, did have at least to me a little undertone, undercurrent, of whatever the feeling would be that means “in need of self compassion”. I’m sure you know this already, your worthy, worth it, whatever you want to phrase it, continue to recognize honor (uh allow? What?) your self worth or maybe just how much you truthly are worth. Almost forgot, when you show up, your bringing value to the table, substance, depth, deep understanding, connection. I can see it from watching this one video, which you almost (you put it how you want to put it haha) the least of your videos. Some people at their worst, are still better than someone else’s best.

Addendum I forgot to add the rest of the thought. To “It wasn’t time to watch until it was really puppy needed.” That’s condition 1 or rather condition X I couldn’t tell you how many conditions they’re really are. Condition 2 what I forgot to add is that I was in my bed, I’d just straightened out the two soft cozy cat blankets and places them back where it felt all nice and they are I we were happy. Resonates. (The feeling of that might be Jesse from toy story in her happy days, there’s a song at that point in the movie where it talks about Jesse and uh… her “owner” I guess for lack of a better word at this time. Okay okay, that’s it, realizing that I’m still forgetting to mention the bed is filled a few of my favorite “inner circle” “high grade” plushes (stuffed animals), oh oh! And some Rocks! A few shiny tumbled rock friends who’ve also been hanging out with me (watching over me, each other) well during the night *squints eyes* realizing that well they’ve also been hanging out during the day too. I like to think about one that’s between pebble and stone size, it’s kinda a domed flat circle which it looks like a 2D circle from the top with rounded edges (like if a coin on its 3rd ride had a smooth seemless transition from the front to the back, rather than cliffs. Then imagine that the head and tails sides of the coin weren’t so flat, they were made into sorta flat domes. Kinda like some sports stadiums, more rounded on the sizes though. Hearty hefty comfortable palm of hand size, actually the stone reminds me of Jaguar paws (paw pads). The there’s some purple lights, a body pillow (daki mora? Not sure on the second part of that word with a character who’s very sweet and such a delight. Anyway point is, or well, has become now in this, present moment. That in order to access, honor your video where and when I would chose to watch it, naturally that came when I, I am in a very magical space, surrounded by beings of love, magic. Oh beings, specimens, treasures. Though there is some tiredness, not in the space though, in Me. Magical place for a magical video. I like your hair by the way, (not that it matters If I like or dislike when it when it comes to you. Your questions and answers? I must make towards going to sleep now.

111 1 more think at least for me social interaction wise empathy made the difference. I was like fine, I humor (whomever) and give this empathy tool a go, and while there was predating that point years of a slow improvement communication wise, using that empathy practicing with it with myself and others “others”, inside of myself. Uhhh oh! That empathy as a boost but it soon became a click, a turning point, that something changed inside of me and my abilities of communicating . “I create it all” You do too. and recently I discovered our “reality” in a reflection of what’s inside of us. Ahem, is a reflection of what’s inside of us (OZ)? Like the wizard of oz, not sure why that thought came to me, it was as if at the start of this little paragraph I’d already been crafting some wizard of oZ metaphor. We’re constantly holding a mirror up the, up to the world and the world is doing the same for us, saying who are you? Who do you need to be? (No need at answer unless you want to” What toy send out into the world, what you put out in it, your receive that back at you. What you send, you shall receive, “What goes around comes around some No intolerance. On and and I really think this is the last thing this time (almost wrote work, what? )Where’d that fix, no for. No fit. Ahahahahaha Alway “I create it all” (and you do too.) Or at least you can if you desire. Came from the wise old sage woman running our collage success class at CCSF. She is a PHD psychologist? psychiatrist? And that was one of the last years she taught at the collage. She said it you only take away from thing for this class let it be “I create it all”

This video got randomly recommended to me and as an autistic person who loves plushies I can relate to everything you said. One of my biggest joys is making my own plushies (my birthday is in a few days and the main thing I asked for was fabric lmao) and they (plus the plushies I bought/were given to me) always meant so much to me. I also get super attached to objects and I don't see why that would be "wrong" since it hurts nobody. I don't have a jellycat plushie, but I've seen pictures of them and I really want the mammoth and sabre tooth tiger. Someday!

I am so happy that your KZbin showed up in my recommendations. 😊 I follow you on TikTok and love the fact that you love plushies. I love them, too, and my bed is full of spooky and unique plushies including an awesome Halloween themed green balloon dog that I named "Mylar". My favorite plushies are Halloween ones and every year I go nuts and buy as many as I can get a hold of. One of my very favorites right now is a 1999 Halloween beanie baby ghost named "Sheets". 😊 I found him for 99 cents at a thrift store- best find ever. 😀

You said all the things I could never articulate about my plush friends. I am late self-diagnosed, but all the signs were always there. ( I have a serious aversion to doctors and the like and will likely never be formally diagnosed due to trauma-related stuff) I am going to be 32 and have collected plushies my whole life, many have come and gone. I have too many that I consider my emotional support buddies. I am a social recluse and always have been. Never really felt lonely when alone, but have felt what I assume loneliness is around other people. Plushies and pets are the best company I have found, aside from maybe 2-3 people I have known. I have plushies in my car because driving can be one of the most stressful things in my life and sometimes I bring a friend from my room along on those harder days. I always have a rotation of a small buddy in whatever bag I have.

I'm also late diagnosed autistic. I was diagnosed at age 24 and I'm now 31. In 3rd grade, I had a Lisa Frank leopard pencil pouch that was the plushy I carried around in school until my teacher made me put it away in my locker because she thought I would be "distracted " in class. I didn't mess with it unless my work was done or I needed a pencil. I know what you mean about places and people not being accommodating.
