Thanks Jane for your updates, they really are going to be a great guide for my recovery. I'm glad you got one of Tony's tips. One of yours I will be doing is my upper arms 😊 It's already June and I know it'll be Aug 2 in a snap lol. Lovely flowers 💐 and sweet Aunty 🤗

Sorry you recovery is going not as fast as you like. Im on day 24 today. My surgery was a day surgery with no staples. Yeah 😊 first 48 hours were hell because my thigh high ted hose were too tight. I started thinking like the nurse I am, and realized my leg was cold, pale etc and took them off. Pain improved within hours. The pain pump was wonderful they sent me home on. You definitely need to stay on top of pain meds. I alternated percocet and tramadol at first every 3 hours!. Now down to tylenol. I think agressive pain management is necessary for sure after this surgery to allow you to do activities you need to do. For me I went one week walker, one week cane, no assist week 3. I did sleep in my recliner and was able to staight leg elevate easily the first 2 weeks which I think helped. I drove for first time today😊 I hope you start meeting your goals. It for sure can be frustrating. Nighttime pain is no fun. Thank you for making your videos.

Awww thank you for the well wishes! I’m on month three now…..no more pain meds but my knee is still really stiff even though I can bend to 118. I hated the Ted hose and was so glad to get rid of those… LOL. Wow no assist at week 3! I’m still using a cane. My doc says everyone recovers different and we are looking at 6 months to feel more normal. I was “lucky” I guess. Glad you are doing so well! Continued success for you!
