My Korean Parent's First Apple Picking

Dad's been obssessed with apples this year, eating at least two a day so we went to pick fresh apples. Even though my dad grew up in daegu, korea which is the home of best apples in Korea. His family didn't own an orchard so he actually never picked apples. Mom who grew up in Seoul (the largest city in Korea( of cousre never had a chance to pick apples either. So this was a new and fun experience for them. It was also their first time trying apple cider donuts and they loved them.

Looks like a fun family day. I live near apple orchards and pumpkin farms with hayrides here in Ontario Canada. It seems like your parents really enjoyed themselves, tasting those delicious looking donuts and apples...especially your dad...🤗😆🍎💕

This is precious - Such a shame I live in California and Arizona and I have never been! My apple picking is usually at the supermarket lol! Have a wonderful time! When will you be getting in more of your out of stock items especially the pots? I really would love to order them! U know u can cook Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkins!? Recipe: throw on ground to break into pieces, scoop out seeds & roast them separate (see that recipe below), lay pumpkin sections on cookie sheets flesh side down, rub with olive oil & generous salt, bake in 350° oven until tender. The rind is edible this way & u will get 10-20 CUPS of pumpkin chunks u can freeze & throw into soups, stews or eat as a side (like pumpkin pie). Be sure to back off on cook time if u intend to reheat in a dish so it won't be mush. Seed Recipe: rinse off pumpkin tendrils & residue, season with soy sauce, slight salt, melted butter & brown sugar + bake on a FOIL LINED COOKIE SHEET (or u will regret it!), bake at 350° until crispy, roasted seeds, turning seeds frequently to prevent burning. Try some of ur own seasonings too! Yummy!! Hope u try these recipes bc they are a big money saver! ❤
