I lived in Port Royal SC off and on in the 1980s and 1990s (bouncing between SC, CT, and FL frequently during the 1980s). I visited Hilton Head a few times and it's a really chilled place. Porta Royal sits right across the bridge from Paris Island Marine Base, where they filmed Full Metal Jacket, and Lady's Island, where they filmed Forest Gump.

We truly are in love with Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort and just the entire island. It is one of the most beautiful and scenic areas. And the Live Oak Trees, the marshes, etc !! Nothing like them!! It’s just so Beautiful there!

Adam - make sure you put Fort Pulaski on your agenda the next time you shoot through Savannah. Also, Tybee Island is at the end of the road and makes for a nice visit. I love this channel. It has become my favorite. As I get older I have struggled with consistently staying on the exercises. This fall I slumped because I tried putting too many things into my exercise room for storage. I no longer wanted to go in there. I kept up on the walking though but my arms lost their strength 💪 🙃. Now I have the gym room cleared out and I put a stereo in there. I look forward to building up my strength again. Kudos to you for putting efforts into your physical health. Keep us informed on that along with your travels. It is encouraging.

I do recall when you went flying down the slide and hit that ground and I believe the bicycle was no more LOLLOL I rewatch that a number of times and laughed every time it was insanely funny!! Where are you are now in Myrtle Beach is one of the most beautiful areas that I recall growing up within in Florida. Thanks for the Hitchcock would be proud moment. Vero Beach, I highly reccomend that as a stay for sure. Probably our favorite DVC spot as a family. Seems like there is a similar vibe at Hilton Head thatcan be had at Vero.
