My health issues and age finally caught up with me. I'm making a cedar goblet as my last KZbin video. Of course, never say never. Should things improve I might just pop back up. Thank all of you for your support.

Beautiful piece my friend. I will check in with you and perhaps you can take us for a ride in your four-wheeler someday. I have damaged nerves along my spine and can't stand at the lathe more than twenty minutes. A tens unit helps a lot. I had eight nerves blocked but somehow one didn't take and it will take me down. I'm now doing cold laser treatments on that area and has helped a lot so far but now done yet. My sister had damaged nerves from shingles on her back and took 16 laser treatments and feels great as it changed her life. I'm now starting to go down that road. Do what you can do, Thanks for your time all these years, Cheers, Lee

Larry, if you want to keep turning and not have to stand at the lathe , do like I have done for years. I am disabled and cannot stand for more than a min. or two so I got me a heavy duty tall bar stool type chair with a back on it to sit at my lathe and turn. Been doing it for years and it lets me do what I really enjoy. And as much as you seem to enjoy turning I feel you can still enjoy it as well. So yes get you a taller chair and keep on turning!

Id like to thank you Mr Larry. You have taught me alot. The first time I watched you, you were building a lathe from one just like I have. Ive had 2 HF lathes. You were putting a different motor set-up on yours. I enjoyed watching, and listening to you, so, I stuck around. People should do more watching and listening, in my opinion. When I heard you tell us to "call our mamas", I was forever hooked on your videos. My mama had been gone for many years, but that instruction from you meant so much to me. Im sad to hear you say this is your last video, but, I understand. Im going to be 70 soon. I see myself starting to slow down. Not by choice, but, necessity. I do hope youll do a video from time to time. If its only to show us stuff youre doing, or just to chat. Ill watch, I promise you. Take care, and God Bless You.😎❤👍

Larry, it saddens me for you to have to cut back. We have had a great journey together. Age slows everyone for sure. I'm 81 now and I sure feel it a lot of days. At the lathe my friend is my back brace. I saw your stool is height adjustable. I mentored a friend, who had a lot of health issues, that used a stool like yours. He used his at a height that caused him to just barely bend his knees. It worked for him, if you haven't tried this, something to consider. On a final note, thanks for coming up with your Beaver design. I have the little Beaver and love it. I use it more than any of my other tools. I trust that I will see you again.
