Starbond sent me some inlay material, so I thought I would give it a try. Something different turned out really nice, give it a look.

I don't know the KZbin tricks for improving or increasing subs but I'm sure one of the other popular woodturner KZbinrs could help. Someone needs to chime in and help out, PLEASE! Your videos are prefect as far as I'm concerned. Great job on the inlay, I have been watching @SpragueWoodturning do inlays for sometime. I have been wanting to do an inlay but haven't found the right piece of wood yet. You made it look so easy. I appreciate all the work you and all the other woodworkers do to share your skill and experience for the community. Thanks for sharing!

its very hard for me to keep turning but i keep on keep'n on

How far into the sanding process are you going? I use to stop at the 330 and even 600 grit, But when i started going out further then i noticed a huge difference in the look and feel of my projects. It's like turning a $30 dollar piece into a $200 piece. Also, Instead of CA Glue, I wonder how it would be to fill the groove with the stone and then add a clear epoxy and let it sit up, then turn it out. I've only tried inlaying a couple times and neither worked out great. It's always been an interest though.

I usually stop at 400, can't tell much difference after that. Ack's paste if about 1000 and does a very fine job. Thank you, Larry

@@TheWoodWhirler Bradford pear trees in my view are pretty much worthless. They blow over, split or die after about 20 years. But they are excellent for wood turning. Again, nice work. Thanks.
