My last piking session on the river Wye

With the rivers dropping nicely I took a gamble and headed off to Birmingham Anglers Association water on the river Wye. After a slog with the lures I swapped over to deadbaiting and leap frogged up from the lower meadow. Finally I got rewarded with this fun perfect Pike.

One good fish absolutely justifies a trip. Especially right before the spawn. Our pike are spawning now in Illinois as well across the pond so it's nice to watch someone else catching them now. Thanks for the great video

@@BlackCountryPiker I love musky too. Only hand a handful under my belt, not as abundant by me as pike and way more difficult to catch. Awesome fish tho....

Thanks Adam, I will fish for pike throughout the year apart from summer temperatures if too high and spawning season. They had t started yet due to the rivers being all to cock. Mine are also now away and I’ll be after others
