This video really encapsulates how it feels that last week. I remember my boyfriend and I were the last people to leave our residence hall, and watching all the furniture be removed, the bustling, loud hallways get emptier and emptier, was just the depressing feeling of losing your first space that was really yours. We love you lots, and it only means moving on to bigger, better things.

Moving day, done this many times. Sometimes I loved it and sometimes I hated it. They're definitely beginnings and endings of different parts of my life. I've revisited places I used to live and they just don't have the feeling they used to have, like the old saying goes, you can't go back again or something like that. It was wonderful you got your ID card back. Same thing happened to my wife when we were living in Japan one December, she lost her wallet but still had her purse. About a week later on Christmas Day we get a knock at the door and the building manager brings a taxi driver to our apartment with her wallet. He said he found in in the taxi when he got off shift and remembered her. Nothing was missing and I tried to give him a reward but he wouldn't accept it; I think it was due to Japanese custom or something but we did thank him profusely for this kind deed.

I used to have bangs like that but I switched to frames! I would always keeps my bangs out just as they are or curl/straighten them while putting my hair in different braids, high ponytails, and side ponytails. I honestly think bangs/frames make hairstyles a LOT cuter!

Really love this video. I got the chance to experience "college life" when I studied abroad on exchange in my 2nd of year of uni, felt absolutely heartbroken when I had to leave, especially when leaving my apartment room, felt the same way you felt in this video, my heart crumpled into pieces during those last 3 minutes of this video. Truly, young adulthood is filled with impermanence. You put words into these emotions I have been feeling for a long time.

I think this is the first time I've seen someone this emotional over leaving college for the summer and I'm so glad I finally got to see it! This made me miss spending my school days in a dorm. I’ve studied away from home since seventh grade (around 8 years ago?) and this school year has been my first time to spend an entire school year at home. I’m grateful to be safe at home with my family, but there are a whole lot of fun experiences that I can only get from staying away from home. The only times I get to “experience” them now is by watching vlogs like yours. 🥺 Stay safe and enjoy your break everyone! (Or do well in your school/work, if it’s still not your break… like me)

At the age and time of going to college.... yet stuck in the last year of high school for two years..... Yeah, it's like grade 12, second year. Our 14 years of school just ended on a random Tuesday night without anything called final exams or last day or farewell existing for us. Missing the busy schedule of studying so much. I love going to school (tbh can't believe it's going to be college instead of school from now on). Seeing film your days at the dorm makes me enjoy that life too, which I miss so much... I'm still attached to my dorms from college (and it's been over 20 years) and was crushed when one of them was torn down for new construction. I felt like all my memories were gone, but they really weren't. I hope that next year is more "normal" for you and you get the full college experience.
