@@schradester8 thats awesome man! I love my war sabers katarn. And I was def on the fence about this one for a long time and I am so glad I finally pulled the trigger. Its like 100$ right now. So worth it. And yeah I remember back in the day I think Force Relics did a Yun. I don't know anyone else who has but I would totally get one for sure.

I ordered one too when I saw it in the bargain bin. Haven't received it yet because I also ordered the hilt Ezra builds at the end of the Ahsoka show. Did you do anything on the silver surfaces beside a bit of weathering? I found that LDM hilts always look a bit weird with the way they machine them. The light shine on them with a rainbow effect. I have a Luke ep6 hilt they made that I had to repolish to get rid of the rainbow and I have their Malak hilt as well.

Just ordered this hilt from Korbanth - but concerned now about those threads breaking? Also - where would be the best place to get a chassis?

It will be fine. The person that broke theirs had it on a buffing wheel. Personally I would say glue it like I did and you’ll be fine. I feel like there is no reason to go through taking off the bar to unscrew the body at that point. Make it a one piece like I did and you’re good all day. I think korbanth has a basic chassis for this. I remember seeing it in the video.

@@aarondarlington2070 I don't know else to give more info. When you take off the control box just put springs that are the right size and height over the plungers inside the box.

That is accurate. None of the sabers in that time were small. Look at the graflex and such.
