I think Brickheadz is the best theme, then Star Wars. Also in the Brickheadz theme there are only a few themes that are performing very great, one of them is star wars, but I think also Sonic and Lotr brickheadz will perform insane

Thanks! Dungeons & Dragons could do well I think, I like it because I believe people who are in to LOVE IT. Same as Star Wars really, it's one of those where the biggest fans are almost like a cult following so would be willing to pay big money for the thing they love. The farming sets I am not so sure on I'll probably leave them alone for the time being, see how the 2 that are retiring this year do then maybe get on the next one, hopefully they will do more!

Hi I live in Europe and I am to hold my sets for 1 year . I can find the mos eisley cantina ucs for €307 , Chewbacca for €130 , a frame cabin €134 and the office for €90 will I be able to double my money in a year (except ucs cantina ) ? I sell on eBay but fees aren’t that high here in Europe and I’m a private seller .i’m not sure of the ucs at at but I should be able to find 20%off and also not sure of ucs land speeder . And for the office I don’t feel like it’s that popular and for lord of the rings. Marvel and Indiana jones I will also have to see since I already have a big list .

Hi! To be honest it’s very unlikely to double your money within a year, even if you look at the top performers from last year there aren’t any that I can think of that have doubled in price, especially when you include selling fees, postage etc.

Is the Friends set based on the Original office or the US version? Also you mentioned about some of the cars not doing well because theyre American, but also are investing in the NASCAR set?

It’s from the US version, I don’t know anyone who watches the UK and not US! Yeah NASCAR is different though, it’s just an American sport, it’s almost like saying Americans wouldn’t like golf because it’s a British sport. I know a lot of people like NASCAR outside the US especially with the Netflix series that came out, the Chevy especially is just not something you see in the UK really, same as pickup trucks

Think both star wars and Lotr are dangerous because they are killing off the IP with woke stuff, which is likely value destroying and downsizing that market (or at least not filling the fan pipeline as much).

Perhaps. But as much as Disney and Amazon are destroying those IPs for existing fans, those existing fans are valuing the original stuff even more because of it. Even the prequel trilogy and Clone Wars stuff is looking high quality by comparison to current Star Wars stuff these days. And any new Tolkien related works will never measure up to Jackson’s originals so 🤷 This is why LEGO has tended to stick to doing original trilogy sw stuff, whilst throwing in mainly clone trooper related sets for the prequel trilogy/clone wars. Stuff they know will sell regardless. And why they haven’t touched rings of power and instead released major UCS style sets based around Jackson’s films, because they know those who grew up with those films are a big market that can afford expensive sets. It’s also why the only other LOTR sets have been brickheadz rather than minifigure or playsets.
