My thoughts too. Talking about starting a stand and no syrups is my #1 requirement. I'll go to real fruit in a heartbeat! So does the sugar dissolve ok? I was thinking I'd premix a simple sugar water ahead of time. 😊
@kenthecookieman16 күн бұрын
I’m taking your idea about using fresh fruit. My question is how does your setup look? How much do you have have of the fruit ready for serving? Do you store what you’re not serving in a refrigerator?What kind of container do you use?I ask because the syrups are so neat with their pumps and all. I don’t think there is a way to pump this fresh fruit. I’m using a small ladle. The fruit containers are in a small cooler. I’m trying to do this without kaos while looking professional and clean. If you’re doing large volume, do you have quarts stored as backup? Do you keep the muddled fruit covered between lemonades? These aren’t all multiple questions. I broke it up like this so you would understand what I’d like to know. You can just tell me how you do it.

A couple questions from a newbie. Does the sugar amount per cup cause any issues with diabetes? And when you use real fruit, does that cause issues with plugging straws? I just finished building my lemonade trailer. We too will not be using a smasher or wedger. All old school.

We use deli cups so we shake and serve in the same cup. We found that customers prefer that way. Using a shaker cup is as some people describe it "gross". People always call into question the cleanliness of the shaker cup

in reality the vendors that sell a bigger cup can not only charge more per oz they sell more units, because of percieved value. for examply I sell more by volume in my ice cream truck than the ones that sell exactly the same for 1/2 the price of mine. they also struggle in their personal finances and barely stay in business. going for the low dollar is not it , because more people have money than are poor.

Stadiums and theaters make it a habit to deny entry for those bringing in their own. They get away with selling a 24 oz cup for more than the price of a 12 pack. Serve it out of keg, and this lowers expenses wasted on packaging. If its going to be hot that causes potential customers to become motivated buyers.
