DJaySplitSecond Exactly! Hammer brought a style and energy to hip hop dance that was NON-EXISTENT. Yes dance was their out the gate but Hammer made everyone want to dance. #FromAnOG

Its obvious you've never been to the South
@Hervinbalfour7 жыл бұрын
I've been to the South several times. And I think you missed the point that was being made. What rap entertainer/artist at the time or prior to his arrival on the rap scene was dancing like that? No one! It even became the subject of disses amongst other artists. We all knew Hammer couldn't rap but he could dance his butt off. In fact his whole crew was next level. Not to mention that Hammer created a large number of dance steps that became known nation wide. We can't deny is role in hip hop dance.

MC Hammer paved the way for rappers receiving endorsements and becoming actors yet they called him a sellout for what they now receive millions for. The hip hop community really needs to thank Hammer his British Knight and taco Bell commercials, allowed them to feed their families and live well today.

We were actually selected but unfortunately because we were still in high school our parents did not allow us to take that "Golden Opportunity". So it feels really great to not only hear but also see someone with a similar story that made it. Thanks Michele for sharing!
