I am pretty sure Houston has Gay bars since it has a pretty large Gay population, a gay leaning newspaper publication and had a openly Gay mayor elected in 2010. Very liberal and the most diverse city in the US. My hometown but have not lived there since 1987 but visit a few times a year.
