OMG just left Playa a few months ago and loved it. Been there back and forth and lived in Mexico for months at a time. There is a substantial black community there as well. And the locals there are friendly and nice. We stayed in the local neighborhood where the rent was even cheaper and larger. if you need some resources let me know. Enjoy your time in Playa!

@@intimatememories4867Its not specifically to target you, Black Americans! They do that to even we the locals, when they see you look a bit well to do, they try and hike up prices for us as well. It’s extremely annoying, and I just go to the next vendor to get them cheaper. In Ghana, if you speak English with the market women especially they want to hike up the prices for you even if you’re their fellow Ghanaian…it’s very irritating 🤦🏽‍♀️it’s something we’ve all been complaining about already.
