You are an inspiration Beth. I am a Filipino and i used to look down at young Filipinas marrying old foreigners quite disapprovingly. But watching you and Terrence is giving me a different perspective. You are both very good persons, with good hearts. You are both a blessing to each other and to the many other people around you, and even to your viewers. Age should not be an issue for people who are trying in earnest to find that special someone whom to live with in the pursuit of a fulfilling life. I love it that Beth chose to live with Terence in her village, living simply but happily the Filipino way. And showing all that to the whole world makes me proud. We may not have the fancy things the affluent western countries has, but the simple and uncomplicated lifestyle at the Philippine's far flung villages is showing to be a tempting alternative. By choosing to live there, Beth and Terrence are also blessed with the opportunity to be of help to the needy ones there. And at this time when God is easily waylaid to insignificance and even cursed by some, it's good to recognize how He works silently but effectively in people's lives. Keep it up Beth and Terrence!

I'm agnostic, but when I see people like Beth and Terrence, two pure and good souls that put so many of their thoughts and actions under the judgement of an entity that may, or may not exist... I admit I get a bit envious at their faith, even though I think they're "just" two good persons that happen to believe in God. Beth, your life story is an inspiration for young Filipinos struggling with the same problems you experienced. Thank you for telling your story from your heart. I'm an older FilAm married to my Pi nay wife of 40 years, and she was orphaned during WWII and raised by her aging Grandparents. She struggled with little money through high school, but was able to graduate from college with a degree and a college teaching job. I was very fortunate by chance to meet her when she arrived in the US(that's another story.) Terrance is a lucky man married to a lovely Filipina like you. ;-)

That's all great and everything but I wanted to comment on the video where you're getting frustrated and left her to walk why don't you keep her on the driver side and teach her right how to drive like most people do be thankful you're with a woman a quarter of your age she doesn't take anything serious because you're not being serious put her on the driver side keeper on the driver side take her and areas where she can learn I taught so many people had to drive younger than her learn how to do things right

Hello Mr.Terence and Ms.Beth: I married my filipina wife last year on November 7, 2018 and returned back to my country to return to work until my retirement but I did not last a month working and got retired on December 7. After, I have been preparing my house to sale and my things ( balik bayan boxes ) to send to Philipines where my wife is waiting I go back and stay with her. When I met her was 12 years ago and since then was working to achieve our plans with patience because I was working on my job for my retirement first before I move to Philippines. My wife was working on (ABC) Asian Babe Cams, on a computer when I met her and I decided to help her since that moment and for ever ( she needed to be rescued). She is like you Ms.Beth with a great faith and I trust her with my life. She has never failed me even by the distance that separates us. I am almost ready to move to Philippines and will be there on this month of July 2019. I am from the Caribbean Island Puerto Rico territory of the USA and USA citizen. My languages are Spanish and English. Puerto Rico and Philippines Have the same weather but not the same wildlife and it is 12 hours different hour. Here now it is 3:05 pm and there is 3:00 am. I put her through school quite a few years ago, and we now have a little 11 year old girl who we love. The last 14 years have been wonderful. There are still a few great people out there. Wow, Beth, I just have to say that you have such a likeable personality, so honest and open, it's just all right there. Plus you're a hottie... apologies Terrance, you're great too. Beth, more life stories, make people feel it more, how hard life really is there. People can't comprehend it, they say they do, but they don't feel the extreme hardships, many people all around the world, many hardships. I really appreciate your raw emotional honesty. I find recent instances with my gf working in the spa at Widus Hotel in Clark, she stands up to the boss who is exploiting the workers (11 hour shifts no overtime, accommodation charges) we get Aicia spa contract ends September, no renewal. My gf takes owner to DOLE, and for three and a half months work, gets awarded 27 thousand pesos, meanwhile, the other girls turn on her, stop complaining about their treatment, and act like my gf did something wrong, turning their backs on her at work, not talking to her, (you described it perfectly). Even though they can see that the boss has been stealing 7 thousand pesos off each therapist for every month that they have worked there, they know, but they now don't want to get it back, even though the spa owner can afford it...where does this acceptance of the shit they have been served up come from, and at the same time, they are being just as bad serving up shit on my gf. I don't understand the mentality.

I can totally relate to your story. When i was 7 years old I have to cross the river to get some stuff to sell from ice candy to drinks and many other varieties and walk nearly 6 miles every school days, and a bit longer on weekends going up the mountains to sell bread, vegetables, etc. Jump off jeeps and buses without paying to go to school. (maybe easier for boys than girls?) Finished my college with only one pair of shoes that i have to tie the sole with a wire up to graduation. I work in a hotel for 6.50 pesos/hour (90's)and get back to the boarding house (that is more like of a sardine can) at 1 or 2 am and be at school by 7:30 am as i become an irregular student. Tough! But when company start to pay you a first class ticket to wherever meeting they sent you that is then you realized that those hardships and manoeuvres, you are actually honing skills that school can not teach you. You become skillful in bending the rule without breaking it. I am now based in the England. Here in the UK, children can apply for a student loan that will help them get thru a degree that they may ever go for. You have a fantastic journey and story and your husband is a great listener. At first look, i thought he was Rod Stewart.

Hi, my name is Rebecca of Cebu but residing here in VEGAS, when I see your vlog answering question with your husband I really relate what I have before but you’re right I also did what you did fallow my dreams but after I finished my secretarial course I didnt make it to fallow my dreams but instead I got married ‘, and have three kids even his family don’t like me because he is a doctor, I have tough time especially I’m a devoted catholic and he is a seventh day Adventist’s… to make short my husband died and the limos Wala because my mother in-law took it because she is the paying the hospital bill… it is a very sad story too but life is like that my memories is now memories but not forgotten and strengthens my faith that GOD is always there helping me my kids are successful ………… thank you both

Dami Kung luha Beth dahil preho tayo NG buhay Ang dami ko din karanasan sa buhay n mhirap pero Hindi aq tumigil.. di as nkatapis NG college dahil sa hirap NG buhay.. now ofw aq sa Malaysia, hongkonh Dubai ND 9 yrs n aq dito sa kuwait... God is good... Now I have 2 children nkagrad n NG college ung bunso BSBA, THEN ung eldest ko hopefully this January gagraduate din civil engineering.. di man aq nkagraduate NG college pero I tried my best n maptapos ko ung 2 anak ko...
