it's so sad to see so many negative. why does it matter to you what she does to HER face?? it's cool and all that you want people to "love" themselves, but if someone doesn't like something about themselves, who are you to say they "shouldn't" do it? it's about what makes others happy, confident, and comfortable with themselves. So many beautiful and kind females are hated on to the extent I find is straight up bullying. Most comes from jealousy but if you are jealous, why not be honest and instead say, "wow, you look good! I'm so glad that women are now being so open about augmenting their looks! I think it actually sends a better message. When I was growing up it seemed celebrities and models were so hush hush about their cosmetic procedures, wanting to portray an unattainable standard of beauty. It's great to see women come forward now and say hey, I didn't like a feature so I changed it! Such a realistic message I feel it sends to other women/girls.

Honestly Amanda, there were points where I was like "she needs to chill with the injections". But now I see that I was probably noticing them more so after a recent injection so they were still probably still swollen because there were also times (like in this video) where they look more natural, yet still full. I thought your lips were fine before (and they look great now) but I really respect you for opening up about it and not being secretive about it! Stay beautiful :) xo!

just like you, i never had an insecurity about my lips untill i started getting into makeup! and it's not like i was comparing myself and saying "they have big lips and i don't" it was just that i really like the way lipstick looks on bigger lips, and it generally (in my opinion) doesnt work with my shape. about a few months ago i got my first matte lipstick and started to overdraw (i can get away with overdrawing a lot easier when i use matte) and i just love the shape of my lips when they're overdrawn. what i'm insecure about now is that when i try to use glosses or satin or any kind of shiny lip products, i can't overdraw without it being horrible obvious and it ruins the overall look. also, i know that when the lipstick comes off i'm back to my small lips. and people notice the difference and comment on it. i was pretty hesitant toward lip injections because i'm scared of ending up looking like angelina jolie or joan rivers when i'm honestly looking for a shape like kylie and even yours. i was also terrified of the price, but this video helped me so much, and i really really love your new lips and it's inspired me to keep looking into getting mine done! thank you so much!

You paid $600?? Wow. I got a full syringe of Juvederm when I got my lips done for the first time 3 weeks ago and it was only $400. I go to a great RN who has offices here in Las Vegas and one if Beverly Hills, CA. Are you at least signed up for Brilliant Distinctions so you can get money off? Anyway, I think they look great. I only got one syringe and I love them, but no one in my family has noticed or mentioned anything!(I didn't tell them I was doing it) :)

I think your lips are really beautiful. I subbed after you had them done and I just thought they were natural, but what do I know haha Is it hard for the surgeon to keep them the same size? It seems really annoying to be dealing with swollen then deflating lips all the time. Also, does the needle cause scarring? I work at a cosmetic dr office in Florida and we mostly offer injections/fillers . I've been dyeing to get my lips done since I've started ! You are right on about the way you explained everything . People call us all day and I pretty much say exactly what you've said !:) I obviously don't know how much it hurts or anything but the girls in the office who's had it has said the same thing . The things that's are taught in makeup schools, most people will learn by teaching themselves or off KZbin. Also can I just add that I've seen plenty of certified makeup artists with half the talent of self taught artists. You don't need people teaching you or a piece of paper to be what you want

I had been searching for months via google for a good plastic surgeon in my area to do lip injections (I live in a state where lip injections aren't really done often) so I knew it would be hard to find a really good doctor without just choosing and hoping for the best. When you mentioned the "Realself" website I was able to find a really good doctor (according to reviews and pictures) and I have my appointment set up for three weeks out! Love love love everything you do girl, but I am not the biggest fan of this size. I thought they looked more natural a few months ago - you fooled me by saying you did a lot of over drawing! I've wanted to get fillers for a long time to correct my "crooked smile" but $600 is just not realistic for me as a stay at home mom of 3. I can't spend that kind of money on myself. I think you look incredible. Even before the fillers- I love that short hair on you! I think I'm going to put a wig on my Christmas list lol. My hair has been thinning so bad- it's hereditary and I got a surgery a few months ago and one of the side effects is my hair falling out. if everyone weren't so obsessed with lips in the first place then you probably wouldn't feel insecure about them, no hate coming from me its just interesting to me how at first you didnt see a problem with them until you got into the world of beauty and makeup... i used to feel insecure about my smaller breasts but I just always try to remember that it IS the world and its beauty standards telling you that your smaller lips needed to be bigger. I am always torn between caving to the beauty standards and yearning for certain things (even lip fillers and I have full lips already!) or breast implants or anything else or saying fuck the worlds beauty standards and doing me and not worrying soo so much about vanity.... does anyone else feel this torn feeling?
