This is great! I was also inspired by her86m2 and started a garden in my little courtyard. It wasn't as successful as I had dreamed haha but I made a lot of mistakes and cant wait for year 2 to try again. Thankyou for sharing your experience, I wish you all the best and happy gardening.

I have watched this video over and over again, I also love Her86m2 and have watched her balcony garden video repeatedly as well. I love how thorough you are with each step and how lovingly you documented your process. I too, am planning a balcony garden health issues have prevented execution but through your inspirational video's I have decided to take on this challenge despite my health issues/mobility issues...as I realise I planned to have a healing garden and sanctuary and did not know how that looked until I found your videos. I have decided to go very slowly and only do small tasks each day consistently, that is the way around my health issues. Also subscribed! Thank you so much Lisa-Marie btw my sister name is Lisa-Marie named after Elvis daughter lol!

Hey Alexis, thank you so much for watching and your kind words! 🥹🙏🏻 I am sorry to hear health issues are in your way, I hope for the best and better for you!! Plants and gardening can be so peaceful and healing, for the mind definitely! And taking it slowly step by step is the best way to do it anyways -like the seeds show us it takes patience to grow into beautiful plants ☺️ I wish you all the best in your gardening journey, let me know in the comments of my future videos how it's going for you, would love to read about it! ♥️ Haha that's awesome! I have been asked if I was named after her so many times, but as far as I know that wasn't the case, my parents just liked the name ☺️

Hand pollinating for the zucchini. Also full sun. I'm not sure but it might as well be you had too many leaves on the plants so they've kept the fruits in shade. 💚

I love it! Trying it out myself this year. Also, I love the sound of the budgie(s) in the back! Have one and a parakeet myself.

Well, a budgie and a cockatiel, I meant.

Thank you!! Haha they can be annoying sometimes, though, when you want to talk, because they always wanna participate in any conversation 😂 So lovely! I wand to have a cockatiel one day, too!! I think they're so cute! 🥰

A beautiful antidote to the stressed and and rushed life today. Nature doesn't allow us to rush it. Have you considered companion planting? I am curious if that would help with aphids on your balcony garden ? Thanks also for the focus on the plants -unlike some other self-glorifying drama chanels" A new subscriber and fellow German from the UK 👍👍

Thank you so much, Andrea! Your comment means a lot to me! 🥰 Yes, I always try to incorporate companion planting, but still need to learn a lot! I moved a year ago and had a totally new balcony season this year - to be honest, it wasn't good at all with the very different climate in Hamburg haha. But I will learn from my mistakes and take the next season as a new opportunity! :) Viele Grüße nach UK! ♥️

I think the zucchini did not grew, because it was too little space for it. One zucchini plant alone needs around 1 sqm for itself. Based on your video it looks like it was too cramed in with all the other plants in the raised bed. Maybe next time try to plant one zucchini into one big pot. I hope this helps 🙂

Thank you so much for your feedback! Others have told me the same, so I guess you are right! :D

@@LisaMarieKaspar Are you trying tro grow zucchini this year again? I am going to try it as well, but I choose are climbing sort :-)
@kirstyb29952 жыл бұрын
The zucchini plants have male and female flowers. Often female flowers will start fruiting without being pollinated and wither. To pollinate take the male flower and dip its pollen into the female flowers.

Thank you for your advice! I tried that but it sadly didn't work :(
