Fun video. I wanted to shout at you when you whizzed past the copper. Wouldn't copper pieces look GREAT in your kitchen? A perfect contrast to your green cabinets. A few copper pitchers or pots on that shelf under the window you're trying to use would look great.

Here’s a thought regarding a light fixture for the kitchen’s bistro table area by the window. Rather than a floor lamp, which takes up extra floor space in small tight area, as well as with floor length drapery… how about a swag lamp that hangs nicely over the small round table? Because your main ceiling light fixture hangs higher, it would give some added visual interest to have the swagged lamp hanging somewhat lower. The swagged chain would also add visual interest, would be off the floor and allowing more floor space… plus, it would make that small seating area feel more cozy… think ‘vignette’. It’s just a thought, had it pop in my head when you were looking at all the beautiful chandeliers hanging in the flea market. I would pick something that coordinates with the main big light fixture, but make it proportional to the small table over which it would hang, so smaller in height and diameter. Often these swag lamps have a switch on the swag cord in a fairly convenient place to reach for turning the light on or off. Continua a fare acquisti, Julie! 🛍️ 😃🩷🇮🇹

Julie, when opening a jar & it doesn't want to open, you turn it upside down & hold it with both hands & bang it down firmly onto your bench - usually two bangs will do the job! What you are doing is breaking the seal. Often the smaller jars only need one bang but I mostly find I need to do two bangs & then hold it upright & as you undo it be careful not to pour the liquid down the front of you. I have also done that on occasion. This is a trick I learnt from when I used to work in the kitchen of a retirement village years ago, so handy as I have arthritis in my hands & no male to help me!!

Enjoyed the flea market tour and the art, particularly the watercolours. Thanks for the video. Out of curiosity, I watched one of your other channels, and your husband has some remarkable ancestors. The 4th Earl of Sandwich was president of the first Egyptian Society in England during the 1740s, and their minute meeting book is in the British Library. He brought back some of the first mummified ibises and a mummy for the Society to examine. They met sometimes in Richmond House in London. Anyhow, I enjoy the channel.

I used to go to estate sales and flea market's with my grandpa back in the 80's, when i was his helper, so much fun. He used to restore really old clocks, and furniture fro the late 1700's- the mid 1800's, he collected old Staffordshire pieces, some of them he would restore, touching up the paint, and some of the rarer pieces he would have to fix cracks and sometimes make a hand or parts of the face. He could fix them, yet you couldn't tell, and they still looked old. It's crazy to think that thing's that his generation collected are not being sought after as much. Classic car's from the 40's have really dropped in price, the older guy's who bought them are passing away everyday, especially wwll vet's from his generation are nearly gone. I like when you go to these flea market's and shop's, they have a good variety of things. Thanks for taking us along. Tell Nestor good on him for helping you out with the camera's, he helps you out a lot when you need an extra hand. G-d bless.
