A pro tip that might be useful. Whenever you open a pro app that requires dragging and dropping, don't use it in full screen. Just extend the window to the size of the screen. Once you do that, whenever you open finder, you won't have to switch desktops for dragging and dropping. The finder window will open over the Pro App itself (because you aren't in full screen), and then you can drag it from the finder window to the pro app window. Hope that helps.

CAUTION: Sequoia 15.1 is known to cause Bluetooth devices to periodically malfunction or to not work at all. So far, no one seems to know why or how to fix the problem. For some people their wireless mouse periodically stops functioning. For others it's bluetooth headphones. For me it's my brand new Bose speaker (which worked perfectly until I upgraded to Sequoia. It's not that the devices won't connect. They'll connect just fine. The problem is, they just won't work even though they're connected.

Interesting video. Perhaps, as I'm new to MacOS, you can help me understand why every time I unplug my laptop from the external monitor and in other situations, it changes the wallpaper I've set. I use my own wallpaper from an image folder, but I don't know why every time I have to go into the settings and re-set it. Same with the sidebar. I have added the "Desktop" folder, but sometimes, strangely enough, it disappears. Any suggestion?

Hi! I am pretty sure the preview issue happens on every new iteration. Its quite annoying. Two questions/observations. I notice that your desktops are named in Mission Control. Is that a Sequoia update or a third party app? How did you do it. Also, anytime I open up my Macbook for a third screen (its plugged into my monitor) half if not all of the mission controls move over to the Macbook. Is there any way to just keep them on the monitor? I always love your videos so clean and well done with a wealth of information.

It's just a setting with Bartender. You can give the toolbar rounded corners, and choose from a couple of different split options (basically just more padding).

I’ve seen some vids on the new iMacs coming out in a couple of days. I was considering buying one but then I thought, what can I do on an iMac that I can’t already do on my Windows pc and laptop? I use davinci resolve for video editing so I would use the Mac version, I use Affinity suite for photo editing and vector graphics etc. What programs does the Mac have that Windows doesn’t already do for me? What would be a benefit of getting an iMac or is it just a case of all computers being capable now and just a matter of what you like the look of? Sell it to me. Thanks.

You buy an iMac for the aesthetic and build quality. Windows can do the same as MacOs… I have a studio display and had an iMac previously. The all in one package is the benefit. Wonderful speakers, retina resolution (no pixels), great color range, okay-ish webcam and it looks great in the room. Everything else you get on Windows. What I prefer is, optimized Apps for mac, photos app is way better then windows, better gestures then windows.

I have both and use both almost every day. I prefer the aesthetic and the flow of things, and if I take a photo on my iPhone it's automatically on my iPad and Mac. But I REALLY like that MacOS doesn't just pop up with a system update while I'm in the middle of a project, like windows does.

Nice as always! Did I miss “subscribe, why not” or you forgot to say it? Bartender looks cool on your desktop, however checked the price I don’t think it would be worth it. Will take some of the tricks you’ve mentioned maybe. Strange no iPhone mirroring your region. Does Apple intelligence on macOS require supported iPhone or it’s not releated? While everyone when for double click to action full, you used mininimize. I do agree this update had nothing new and it’s annoying honestly. Many of the apps can be replaced with one app. (Strange to see chrome there but not used)

Tested bartender. Seems rounded separated rounded menus are only shown when desktop is clear not when any window is opened. Unfortunate
