I too, don't like peaches. I can _tolerate_ them, as opposed to actually hating them, and this is made extra funny because Princess Peach is one of my main's for the _Mario Kart_ games, while she's one of my "back-up" picks for Smash Bros. Almost left that as just "Smash" but then I realized how that could be misread.

She was probably one of my three most used in Melee, along with Ness and Young Link. Still have fun using the Peach Bomber from time to time in Ultimate.

14:00 it so true, I’m so sick of people saying wind waker was a great game but when I was younger everyone hated it.

Oh, almost forgot: at the time this video went up, DNF Duel was available for free on the Epic Game Store. *Relevance?* ExploDjinn mentioned he was better at platform fighters than more traditional 1-on-1 fighters. DNF Duels *is* still a 1-on-1 2D fighter *but* the controls are _Smash_ like and the graphics are the kind of 3D polygonal that _look_ like 2D anime. Just figured it was worth shouting out quick, assuming ExploDjinn sees this before 9 AM EDT on August 15, 2024, *and* he doesn't mind having to deal with Epic (won't blame him if he doesn't), might as well see if this 50 USD game is worth it for fun or for work (as in, he does have a video game-based channel). Again, it is *not* a platform-based fighter like Smash, but it does have Smash-like controls. Worth a shot to me *but* then again, I like the visuals *and* fighting games in general.

Did you ever play Custom Robo or Chibi-Robo? Custom Robo is a bit like if Smash Bros was 3D and you built your characters and has one of the darkest twists in any story. Chibi-Robo is a cute, wholesome survival game about a tiny robot trying to explore a house before his battery goes dead and fix a dysfunctional family. Both are some of my favorite games of all time. I'd recommend them even if you have to walk the plank. I think the consensus changes as each generation grows up. People used to say Mega Man 2 was the best Mega Man game, but the consensus has now shifted to match my assessment that 4-6 are the best games. It's only old people who insist 2 is the only good one or the pinnacle today. The Wii U is going to end up popular. It's a system I slept on for years. I already see people admitting they messed up by not getting one. Everyone that got one seemed to love it.

I played Zip Lash, which was a disappointment. I would love to play those two, if I could score a copy without needing to sell an organ. Might need to look into alternatives. I am kind of interested in seeing how the Wii U discourse shapes up, since I liked the library, but definitely have some gripes with the hardware and marketing. I don't know how long it took me to even realize it was a different system and not just a peripheral.

I regret not supporting GameCube enough. I was more in ps2 and xbox. Ps2 had the games and xbox was a game changer and 2nd system to go to at the time. GameCube was underrated

One thing I think contributed to the downfall of the gamecube was the third party support. From what I know, the game cube had pretty bad third party support with its mini-disks, and Nintendo’s pretty bad attitude to people Nintendo didn’t like. Meanwhile the PS2 had excellent third party support and the Xbox as well, while the PS2 had plenty of “Indies” (for the time, anyway) such as Killer 7 and others, while the Xbox had exclusives like Halo. The less said about the capcom 5, the better.

I know that was definitely a problem with the Wii U, and since I can't really think of many third parties outside of Capcom, you're probably right.

Whst do you constitute as a younger person I was born in ninety nine the GameCube was my first home console in 2004 I played smash endlessly as well as sonic adventure 2 I agree with you on there are a lot of cube bandwagon players but it was there loss and our gain growing up with a lot of great games in which they are experiencing now I just hate that the games are so expensive now because of the newfound popularity, I really wish I had my old games from when I was younger because it would’ve saved me a lot of money on my wallet

It's usually really bad when games aren't popular early on, but then see an uptick, since that means that they probably didn't print many copies. Would be nice if more got ported. As for young in this context, I mostly just mean people who either weren't born or too young to use a controller, and thus didn't really have a choice in console at the time. The way I phrased some of this probably came off as a little gatekeep-y...
