I appreciate that comment explanation. I actually did watch the whole thing...as I'm very interested on getting a gheenoe and trailer set up... but it sure made me wonder what you were talking about. Maybe go back and put some words on the screen during that comment? Anyway, I'm gonna subscribe. I just watched 2 of your vids, will watch more. I have an older (1988 aluminum bass boat) and I've fished out of a solo canoe for decades. Now, in my 50s I find myself looking for a little more stability in my "small boat/creeks/small lake/10 hp and under lakes fishing." I'm looking at a gheenoe vs a jon boat as I'm so familiar with the general shape of a csnoe/gheenoe, plus the ability to paddle/pole it. Thanks again and good luck fishing.

First off, I wanted to tell you that when I'm in the mood for a fishing video, you are my go-to channel. You never disappoint. Especially top water strikes. I think I can speak for all fisherman that top water strikes are exciting. Thanks for that. About your Gheenoe. You mentioned you purchased boat, trailer, and motor for $2200. I wonder where you purchased it. I went to the Gheenoe web site. I added up boat, trailer, and 9.9 merc motor. I'm coming up with about $9300.

Thanks man! One more question if you don’t mind. I just bought a used highsider which came with the same endura 55 TM. I’ve been going back and forth on whether to get a 24 or 27 battery. Do you find that your 24 gives you enough power for the day? It would be nice to have the extra power with the 27 but not sure if having to deal with extra weight is worth it.

Hi what size Yeti cooler is that
@justind05035 жыл бұрын
In your opinion, would you get a grab bar if cost wasn't an issue or do you feel it would crowd the noe'? Does leaning against the Yeti seem safe enough? Thanks in advance!
@justin_menendez5 жыл бұрын
The only reason I dont have one is because I think it crowds the boat a little. Makes going from front to back slower. I typically just sit on the cooler and if its choppy then I will just lean against it.

Great looking setup! How's the Yeti cooler work on the rear seat? Can you stand on top of it and pole, or do you just use it as a seat? I recently purchased a 15' Highsider and am considering a similar setup.

Can that bait bucket hold live mullet? If so, what size is it?

@@justin_menendez I'm thinking of buying this live bait dry box/ cooler that holds roughly the same amount of space as a 5 gallon bucket. It's supposed to keep bait alive longer since it's insulated. Its 89.99 for the 19 at and 99.99 for 30 at. Do you think its worth it? How many mullet do you usually pack in your bucket and how long do they stay alive for? I would really appreciate your advice

for all of you gheenoe owners --- do you think there is enough room to take me and my two kids (6 and 9 year old boys) fishing?
