Had a blue 99 Schwinn Powermatic. Paid $300 new when i was 14, my parents sold it (with my permission) after I moved out for $50. Looking back that bike has way more sentimental value than what i got for it. ps im 37 now.

Oh man! I still have my Automatic Comp with that same powdered grey paint job and XS components. It's been collecting dust for a few years and got some rust. I was looking at it this morning thinking to sell before moving abroad, but now considering doing a litte restore job on it and start riding around again.

In 99 jay mirron and the rest of the team came to my city and did a demo in front of the local bike shop. Shit was nuts. Blew us away. We all got Schwinn’s after that. I got a 1999 predator (fw?) can’t remember. Sold that bike before moving to college (like a dumbass) found one just like it 2 hours away from me, might end up driving and picking that up. I miss that thing. It’s like our first car. Never forget them.

Hey. Great video! I have an orange and black dirt jumper comp that I upgraded with the araya rims and the three piece xs crank. I never knew these parts were gonna become so hard to find. I would have bought them all up back in the day. I also have two Joey Garcia signature frame/ fork sets from that era. One is a complete bike. They are numbered in a series of 500. I would love to get that signed by him.

haha the old arayas.. i think i still have my schwinn from the same era buried away somewhere. that top tube/rear wishbone was so unique. mine was on some alex triple wall 48s with those same hucker tires, slightly different XS top loader, same chain grips til they wore through. might have to go dig through the shop, i think some of those parts made it to my og kink cielencki build.

I have a schwinn z-force from like 2002 before they started selling them at Wal-Mart I've had it since and it's in great condition. Tho it's nothing like you have, its one of the high quality ones before they started making cheap ones for Wal-Mart and I'm proud of it

I have the green jay miron in completely mint condition, I don't know if it was bubble wrapped but it is clean. That red comp is sick. I also have a 2000 gt pro performer all original super clean too

It's a shame that Schwinn doesn't make more than Z Flash. I had the bike as a teenager and was very excited. A very stylish frame, Grip Shift circuit and suspension fork. The bike was hot.

I had a schwinn z-force? Was blue it was one of my favorite bikes of all time I upgraded the rim maybe X rims or something not too sure I learned so much tricks on that bike got like 12 feet of air and drit and street but somebody stole it and one day saw my bike some puck kid had it he completely stripped all the breaks chop the handlebars to ridiculous small and painted over the original paint real crappy the bike really wasn't the same after what had caused too much to fix and had it like how I had it it was my setup I had it perfectly for me either way got bike back in was like in 6grade I think and kid was 2yrs younger forgot how he stole it from backyard or something not sure don't like the guy think he's scared of me and runs away

You should buy one for cruising, for example I'll buy schwinn for 10$, similar to red one in the video, but needs some parts, it is painted, I'll repaint it better and buy about 30$ worth of parts and make it run like new
