Afternoon Ben,hope your good bud. I know it's a way back that you fitted union jack tail lights. And you didn't have to code yours. But I'm gonna be fitting genuine mini ones that obviously do. Do you know how I would do that please? Or what mini would charge me? I will get the bimmercode tool linked off your channel. Hi Barry! Thanks for the kind words. If you buy the aftermarket ones you won’t have to code them. However, if you opt for the genuine MINI ones you may have to code them in and change the relevant sections in BimmerCode to LED. If it remember correctly you may also have to swap some wires around, I’m not sure which ones though. For a hassle free installation I’d recommend going for the aftermarket ones.

@@BenRolfe turns out it was really easy, just pop the chrome off with a small screwdriver, everything else stays in tact. Gave them 3 coats of black plasti spray, clipped them back in, looks awesome.
