this was a very emotional video on a very deep level baumi. i must admit that i felt your nostalgia..a bit of sadness with a pinch of disappointment and a lot of disgust for the solo MMR system. I know you read each and every comment, and so I really wanted to tell you this baumi: My friends had started ostracizing me last year, because I gradually stopped playing with them. Truth is, I never liked playing with them at all. they picked carries, never communicated with me during the game, never backed me up when others ganked me (i was a new player then) and kept on shouting at me when i made mistakes. so, I gradually stopped playing with them, as i was sick and tired of trying hard to please them, and I decided to quit dota. However, then: I found your channel. A Drow video. I remember it distinctly. A man talking rubbish while last-hitting on the midlane. At first, I was shocked and slightly disgusted - how could someone play dota so casually! what disrespect! I stopped watching your channel for a day or two. And on the third day, I watched you again. joking. escaping a teamfight-gone-wrong with 30hp and crying out 'NOT EVEN CCLLOOOSE!' like a kid! I remember feeling how happy it must feel to play with friends like this.. and then I realised it. you were having fun. I could have fun too. I just needed to chill. Relax. stop trying so hard. I needed to try and understand..and to just go along the flow. to just play my role. To just be myself. Baumi you taught me to play dota in the true sense of how it should and needs to be played. I shall forever be thankful to you.. Thank you baumi. Thank you. :)

@Baumi, thank you very much! :) you remembered me the spirit of the game from when i was younger. in the weekends playing with my friends, having fun :) i had a laptop and a computer and another friend had a laptop, and we would bring that to my place. go out have fun,drink something and after that return, usually around 2,3 in the morning, to my place and play some dota. But we were usually 4 persons on 3 devices or, 3 person on 2 devices when the friend with the laptop wouldn't come. So we usually started playing 2 or 3 of us and the guy who wasn't playing would start cooking. after the first match, we would switch, and continue cooking and playing. after the second match we would eat and play again until in the morning around 7-8. the good old days :)

To be honest if you pick 4 strangers from the guilt chat (if none of ur friends is free), then isn't that the same as playing solo? you don't know who those ppl u picked up are, you dont know their skill lvl, they might be assholes, they might not be assholes... you dont know.. being in the guilt chat doesn't make someone your friend, since you said you like playing with friends, because you dont know 3/4 of the ppl there
@TAdams97957 жыл бұрын
People in his guild are much more likely to listen to what he has to say, understand the same language, and not be total dicks since he does moderate his guild.
@Crimographies7 жыл бұрын
I am in the chat channel, how come i dont know about it... what im talking about, is your last sentence.. because ppl might act nicely in the chat, but to be flamers in the game. and you cant ban someone from the chat by just saying ''oh he was flaming me ingame'' if you dont show any evidence
@TAdams97957 жыл бұрын
But the chance is *significantly* lower that he will get in a game with some ass hole. And of the few games I've seen Baumi in with someone from his guild that was an ass they got banned right after the game. Of course there is no 100% chance ass holes won't be in your guild. No one is saying that and it doesn't make sense to expect that. But the difference between solo queuing and playing with people in his guild is actually worlds apart.

Baumi you make people emotional. I met Noah for the first time, I haven't seen him in any of your other videos. I really like the way you make your videos. Including your cats, talking random things, talking about things that happen in you your life, it feels so real. I like seeing Nikeera ( not so sure it's spelled Noah and Nikeera, still). I like cats and chicken. I do have a few of them with typical Indian names. I like your live streaming more than the videos where you show an old game and talk about it. There was one of your vengeful matches in the latter but it was like you were talking more about the game what is going to happen next and what people did in the match. So it didn't feel like it's happening unexpectedly. Almost all of your other videos gives me the feel of being at the edge of my chair curious to know how each team fight will turn out and how you guys handle the situation. I don't know, I enjoy live streams much better.

I miss those times when my friends would play the game. We did a lot of stupid shit and had some funny moments. One of my favorite was switching support role with a friend and he was a carry. I went to ward and he warned me to not go up the bottom radiant stairs. While walking up the stairs, I asked why? There was a drow, legion, undying, and a disruptor waiting right there. I got deleted. As I was dying, I screamed "AHHH I SEE WHY!!" Good time :')
