What a beautiful German Sheperd!! I had Shepherd's for most of my life. Great thinkers! Wow, I know your mother is having fun with the cold frame! What a contrast between beautiful green foods and snow!!

I love this cold frame! Do you (or your Mom!) have plans or instructions on how to build this?

Omg that cold frame is huge. And awesome,

Super duper cool! but tell your mom to replace the rope with a nylon polymer rope! I would hate for the cordage material in that jute twine to snap and have that heavy door fall on her head! I am not a worry wort, or a party pooper but eek! I would not be able to live it down if I didn't say something! Love the way it looks though! So so pretty!

+MIgardener | Simple Organic Gardening & Sustainable Living You are completely right! :) Our problem/quirk is that 99% of the time we'll choose aesthetics over practicality/functionality. We'd rather change the rope every season, then have something that doesn't give it the 'look' we want. We're weird like that... ;)

+Garden Answer I'm the same way you are, I much prefer the look your mother has on the cold frame with that jute rope. It's so awesome! Please tell your mother that it's just gorgeous!

Beautiful mother and daughter. Are you interested in doing a video on cold-framing / growing fresh produce in winter? How long is the winter growing season? Love your videos.
@gardenanswer9 жыл бұрын
+Truth 2027 I think that's a great idea for a video! We have cold temps from October-end of February, but we can get things to grow with cold frames, soil heat cables, greenhouse for most of it. It helps to figure out the varieties that hold up better to cold, too. I'll definitely be adding that one to our list! :)

Wow! Well we dont get that kind of snow here; I'm east of San Diego ... One question for you, how do I fertilize herbs - organic herbs.. (If there's such thing) My Rosemary bush looks kind of down and with brown dry tips Thanks for your awesomeness! 😃
@gardenanswer9 жыл бұрын
+Imelda Moreno Hi Imelda! I feed my herbs with Espoma GardenTone and/or FoxFarm Grow Big. They are both great fertilizers! Has the amount of water your rosemary has been getting changed recently? It may need a little more! Thank you for watching and for the comment! :)

she purposely left out any close-ups for you or I to do a take off. or so it seams. Those closeup of you and your ma are not completely necessary charming as you are. The video should be on the cold frame or the veggies. nothing personal
