I really like both of these tools and even though I'm trying to use the Roll & Go more and learn how to work with that, I don't want to forget about my homemade victory roll tool. That diy victory roll hair tool got me through over a year of quick, no ratting, victory rolls on my fine hair. Even though I'm using the Roll & Go more...I still have to show my modified travel lint roller some love.
This is part of my 5-10 minutes a day of "pampering" myself. It's become my Mom Style. Some days it's just the two rolls (most days I try to pull the back up....hashtag Mom life...it makes it pretty and out of the way) and I fill in my brows and slap on lipstick. Other days I make it through eyeliner and mascara.
I can't stress enough how important it is to do something for yourself every day. Don't give so much of yourself to everyone else that you have nothing left for you anymore. You can't keep giving if you have nothing to give from.
This is my Mom Style! It's for me, not my family, not anyone else...just me...the woman that is still there and has a first name and it's not Mommy. I love my family and they are my world...but I've got to be the best world I can be for them. Remember to take care of yourselves too.
*my hair was washed the day before, set on dry hair using undiluted Proclaim Super Setting Lotion from Sally's Beauty, and I used Batiste dry shampoo to dirty it up enough to roll it *
