Madison, I continue to be in awe of your strength and honesty. What happened to you was horrific on so many levels but the core intent of the pathological parent is so evil; to make you doubt your own sanity. That’s it in a nutshell. I disagree with the "evil intent". It is rather a medieval approach. It is mental illness, similar to psychosis. Distorted reality, loss of ethical compass and so on. Horrible in its effects, but dualistic thinking (godly vs. evil) doesn't really help here.

@@robertbenedek4463 I used to think that way too. That the use of ”evil” was simplistic and medieval. But then I realized that time after time, the pathological parent had a choice, and these times of choices were when they were functioning at a lucid and reality based level, and each time they gave into malice and harm. That’s my definition of evil- they were not so out of their heads that it was insanity, but harm as a choice. Lies are a choice. Not getting help is a choice. Enjoyment of the pain of others is a choice. And really, splitting hairs over my use of that word is removing the focus from the issue at hand which is the terrible damage done to innocent (or is that word loaded for you too?) and the lifelong repercussions.

Such behavior/treatment by a parent is beyond evil and so damaging 😢 I grew up Amish and as a kid, I was told all kinds of weird things about God, like he cries if I whistle on a Sunday, we weren't allowed to swim on Sundays etc. It really messed up my belief of who God was and I always felt he was sitting there with a stick just waiting for me to mess up. It wasn't until my later 20's that I spiralled into a dark hole and finally admitted I didn't even know what I believed or whether I wanted anything to do with God. I needed him to show me who he was himself or "leave me alone." 😅 Long story short, He did not leave me alone but opened my eyes to his Word and caused me to fall in love with him. All this to say, It's okay to not know what you believe right now, I know he can show you The Way, The Truth and The Life as he has for me ❤ 🙏

My step daughter’s mother has called the cops on her and she is only 12 years old. The lengths of the justification some mothers will go to must be talked about. I’m simply disgusted and sick and tired of women secretly abusing their children. The behavior is sooo covert that everyone would think the child is lying. I am an alienated parent by two sets of grandparents. Your channel has helped me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your transparency and care for those of us who have suffered through this extreme abuse. My daughter and I have been estranged for twelve years. She is now 29. I believe the brainwashing started when she was as young as four. She has in no way become aware of what has happened to her and has had extreme vitriol towards me. I also believe she is trauma bonded to one grandparent and most likely SA. Through this I have in fact become closer to God over time and had a deliverance myself. I had a supernatural experience through this deliverance and God showed himself to me. I’m only saying this to show the other side of the coin; that although your mother used this as one of her ploys, and I believe controlling mechanisms, God is omnipotent through all of this abuse and he sees the suffering and he knows the truth. My suffering has drawn me closer to God and there are indeed evil spirits which live within many many people. Your mother doesn’t understand the spiritual realm and that she in fact if an alienator would not be operating as a Christian woman and so has no comprehension of Christianity. Don’t stop speaking out Maddi. We are all in this together and God is in the middle of it although we sometimes can’t see it. Sometimes I don’t understand it or understand his plan. However there always is one. Peace is the ultimate goal here and God gives us this peace which is not illusive but there for our taking. So I offer each and everyone of you peace 🙏✌️🇦🇺

Really well-considered and honest realization of horrific spiritual abuse. Good job. I identified with you when you talked about where spiritual abuse leaves you in your own spiritual journey--in a pile of "spaghetti" of beliefs and experiences that needs untangling. Right on when you said they try to hijack your spirituality to control you. I'm standing with you against all that. Some people use the cross as a gang symbol and make their spiritual gifts an obscenity. God is not mocked, though it may seem so to us. Those with compassion will understand why we approach God with cautious circling instead of a full sprint with open arms; those without compassion will get defensive or defiant. They've got the form of godliness but deny its power. As parents, we'll know to be on guard against using the faith this way with our own children. We'll be asking ourselves continually what exactly we're building in our children, and that self-reflection and humility will help us parent well. Hats off to you.

Madi, I'm sorry that you had to go though this but, when you've been involved in family court cases as long as I have (35 years, and no, I'm NOT a lawyer), its hard to tell me something I haven't heard before. I started writing the whole story, but its too long for a comment here. As for the exorcism part ... Mom was a member of a well known but non-mainstream religion. When 15 year old alienated daughter told her she wanted to go and live with dad, mom decided she must either be possessed by the devil or she's already having sex with her dad. Mom took daughter to church every night and, while others were singing their praises to the lord, mom was shouting in daughter's ear "satan be gone, satan be gone." She also, of course, filed child sexual abuse charges with child protective services. End result was daughter stuck to her convictions, and was eventually re-united with dad.

I am sorry that you went through that. I spent my entire adolescence trying to make sense of my religious upbringing. I am in my late 40s now and realize that religion is a form of group therapy. Some groups are great. Some groups are horrible. My mom was horribly alienated from my and my older sister. It ravaged her life and the stress of the alienation gave her high blood pressure, eventually leading to renal failure and 10 years of dialysis before she passed. The comfort she found during the hard years of renal failure was being an active Buddhist. Mediation. And me realizing what had happened and working to be with her more to make up for lost time. Once I had my own kids, I worked extra hard to make sure my kids knew their Grandmother. We lost her over 4 years ago, and I miss her terribly. And I have such deep regrets knowing how hard the alienation impacted her life and health. The work you are doing is so important. Thank you for speaking out. Strength and Love to you!

Child custody chaos for cash is a God to many who have court cases like this one for Madi run up over a 100,000 dollars transfered from the family child funding to attorneys, custody evaluators, court fees, parent uncessary supervisors, parent coordinator decison makers, and it for sure is WORSHIP OF MONEY related to parental alienation for profit AS IF A FALSE GOD! 2) FALSE WITNESS is key to parental alienation in court perjury and false reporting to officers of the law and that sin is very much encouraged in family law by a parent alienation parent! This hit home! My ex used to tell my children that when we/they die , they will never see me in the afterlife because I didn’t believe in god, (which I do) But my second oldest was “seeing things” like hallucinating, getting bad headaches.. her mother who was working at a religious based counseling center, had the religious leader perform an exorcism on her.. 😳 I took our daughter to the doctor in which they ordered a CT scan.. found her to have a tumor on her brain which resulted in surgery to remove.. headaches and hallucinations were gone after surgery.. but am currently alienated from 3 of my 4 daughters.. 😔

These fu...ers exploit their own kids to "feel good" themselves. 🤯 I have a somewhat similar story, with the BIG difference that I was an adult and partner to what would later become the alienator. She almost made me believe I had Aspergers and Tourettes, to the point that I reached out getting help for it. The doctor just looked at me and said: -"Hey - there's NOTHING wrong with you. You should tell your wife not playing some sort of psychologist." THAT was the moment I taught: -"Who am I loving? Who would do something like that to his or her spouse? 😧" At that moment I realized that this person, who I've been loving for 15 years, was dangerous to me. Long story, short. We got divorced. She moved out of the house while I was on a weekend trip abroad. The kids have lost their fathers since 6 years back. I keep reaching out to them. I'm committed to cater for them when they realize what their mother have done to them.

Im sure after the false exorcism I'm sure that started your questioning. In reality, you probably have to forgive her. She probably truly thought demons go into different people and that it is very common. She was mistaken obviously, and probably had some mental issues so forgive her and realize it was a mistake. I'm sorry to hear that, but it seems like you're doing fine and you realize that was not the case. As you mentioned in your video, you realized as a child that you said to yourself oh, no, this is really going to screw me up now. I can imagine that being hurtful, but at least you were smart enough to understand what was going on. Great show and thank you for bringing the awareness to light. I have gone through parental alienation with my daughter. It's been a battle, but we have a very nice foundation. We were there for each other as she was growing up even though my ex made it impossible. She probably told my daughter that I had a demon in me, so probably very similar behavior. I am a practicing Catholic and have some thoughts on this. Demonic oppression/possession certainly can legitimately happen. It certainly would not mean that the victim is inherently evil as a result of said oppression/possession. Your mother had no right, even if she truly thought your illness was impacted by a demonic influence, to break you down mentally and let you believe that you are bad- good grief that is abusive and cruel. I’m thinking she took you to some sort of charismatic priest with the speaking in tongues part. Unfortunately the charismatic movement while it has a lot of well meaning people, it also has many problems. One of which is the fact that as a minor you did not have another adult present. If in fact he did try to do some sort of exorcism, that would require years of interviews, ruling out psychiatric disorders, and finally approval from the diocesan bishop to perform the exorcism. So either it wasn’t a true exorcism or this priest conducted it without permission. Either way, as a Catholic, I care for your soul and you need to know God loves you. I see your goodness when you say you still love and forgive her. You have a beautiful heart. I pray that your mom’s warped control cloaked in religion doesn’t rob of you the peace and truth of the Catholic faith, founded by Jesus Christ.
