The Pastured Homestead

Күн бұрын

The morning routine is pretty simple right now as it’s mostly just feeding the animals. Come late winter and spring we will be able to start our garden. I’m sorry about the microphone being in the shot the whole time, I got this fixed now.

I am so thankful I came across your KZbin channel! What a wonderful little homestead🏡🚜🐓🐕🐈‍⬛🐖🐷 I am starting from the beginning, so I can have the back story. Love the pigs❤! We moved to Tennessee in 2000. We are transplants from Georgia. My husband & I were both raised on family farms. We miss that life. I am excited to follow along & watch you guys make your way on this new journey!

I’m a new subscriber I watched your most recent video showing you moved into an Amish house and are debt free! Decided I’d go back to the beginning of your videos and watch. I enjoy KZbin videos I don’t watch “regular” tv anymore and farming are the ones I enjoy the most. Looking forward to watching more! I noticed your electricity and plumbing is installed and I’m wondering how long you’ve been on your land now and how long it took you to get the “creature comforts” installed? I don’t see any recent large patches of disturbed land where a septic system was recently installed so I suspect you’ve been there for a considerable amount of time already? Just curious about your journey. Hope you get home to see your family & friends, but I think it’s fantastic that you are willing to work hard and put in the sweat equity to make your house a home. Congratulations!!🥰❤️🇨🇦🙏🏻

Great job. My niece and her husband sold their brick house located in a subdivision in the edge of Tenn/Ky border. It was a big nice house but, they sold it and had enough equity to purchase a property in Ky. That had a small parcel of land and a double wide on it and another small storage bldg. I believe.They plan to build on it later on. Paid in full- debt free, they too are in their twenties. You all are rockin it! Smart moves!!

Cornish are a hybrid chicken between a black Cornish and a Plymouth Rock. You could make your own Cornish cross if you had those breeds. Black Cornish are hard to find
@jasonhatfield4747
@jasonhatfield4747 Жыл бұрын
The genetics of cornish cross are owned by several of the big corporations like Tyson. No one can produce true cornish cross with out their breeding stock. Raising Cornish Cross is directly supporting the industrial chicken industry.
