pretty sure the most anticipated factory builder of 2024 starts with Factorio and ends with Space Age xD

@@Paul-vi3on Personally, I love learning about all the interesting-looking-games-I've-never-before--heard-about-in-my-life on this channel. But on the other hand I believe as a content creator one should try to avoid stepping on landmines with their title of choice :) (unless it was intentionally confrontational (something I do not believe it was))

Hey, I'm pretty sad for you for the archer misunderstanding. I think the pattern is actually a footman + a half circle. The links between items in the tech tree does not represent the crafting recipe itself. But I don't have the game myself, so I'm not entirely sure about that, that's just how I read it.

The "dividers" are only better if the distance to travel is greater than 6. Also, can you feed directly into or output from the dividers?
@siekensou7712 күн бұрын
Input comes from the source nodes either ink or shape. The output is the final portal. That said, there are teleporters you can get off the random tech trees. You can make infinite loops with that.
@lordthor59516 күн бұрын
Value wise you are right with the divider, I tend to do it no matter what because it generally save space and the less you have to reshuffle at later point the better.

Why are so few heroes participating in the battle, is it because they're such a low share of all units on your side (roughly 5/400, or i.e. 1 for every 80 units)? If so I wonder if it'd make sense to reduce the production of some of the more basic units and focus more on the heroes so they make up more of your army during the wave.
@siekensou7712 күн бұрын
There's a cooldown shown below the gauge on the left. It reduces everytime a new one enters the final portal
@Gigusx12 күн бұрын
@@siekensou77 Ahh, for whatever reason I thought the "levels" of units you produce before the wave also serve as the bank of units that will get used up during the fight and can run out (e.g. you have 5 heroes that will spawn throughout the fight), and that the gauge only shows the production rate outside of the fight. I guess you can still prioritize heroes over other units to make their production rate higher in fights, but I definitely misunderstood the mechanic :D
@siekensou7712 күн бұрын
@Gigusx Yea, just a production rate. Which means you can wipe your blueprint partway in to change your strategy and the units you sent in before wipe will still be produced in the fight

I have a rule when it comes to games in this genre. If it has a pause and a fast forward button then I ignore them. I've tried many games in this genre and I never enjoy those that require you to manage time.

@@nullcypher if that's such a big problem, you can build while paused. You just won't generate new mana while paused
