I have the exact same bike but mines a 02 It's actually the one I'm sitting on in this picture. It has 16000 miles on it it's been the most reliable bike I've ever owned. I've owned it for 20 years now and it has been literally everywhere. With very little repairs.

Anyways thank you for all the great content you do n provide. 👍🏼

Joe, when you start things up, let it idle for a while before you rev it to the moon. Also, nothing will start without choke, unless it's 100 degrees outside. And don't open the throttle while the choke is on, it defeats the purpose of the choke, by letting in more air than fuel.
@TheScottiem3032 жыл бұрын
Good work but you really need to learn to solder properly and use heat shrink for clean and reliable wiring. Suspect wiring will only increase issues when doing repairs. Thanks for the videos.

I’ve had a few older Arctic Cats, great four wheelers. Still have an immaculate 99 300 4x4 we’ve had since I was a little kid. I rebuilt a 2000 model 250 last year and have had a 98 arctic cat bear cat 454, 03 250, and a 2000 300. They’re tanks. Usually buy a four wheeler project to fix up every deer season and then resell at the end of season

Don't forget the oil filter! I'm not sure if you're planning on doing this or not, but if recommend soldering and heat shrinking all those connections you made. Also, those quads are known for eating through shock and a arm bushings - you might want to check yours. Nice work!

Reason you don't have spark is because your neutral wire that 6-pin connector on a transmission is your gear selection that goes to the lights up on the handlebars there's a neutral wire on it then if it's not connected to relay won't work and you won't get spark and you can electric started either without the neutral wire.
