I really like that that long queue of traffic on the big avenue dissapears as soon as the station is active; (11:38), it really shows that the solution to traffic is not bigger roads, but alternatives to driving

If a building loses most of it features when converting to a PO in move it. Go into find it select the building and hit procedural objects button before placing the build, it will convert it and keep all of the features. Hope that helps

That station that was placed at 4:25 is a light rail station in Los Angeles that isn't even open to the public yet, so it's pretty funny that someone has already made it into a C:S asset.

Dude have you ever taken a close look at Atlanta? You wanna talk about a major city build on some odd terrain. The way the interstate constantly changes whether or not it's above or below ground level. Our public rail Marta goes thru buildings. A major shopping center Atlantic station in built on top of a massive parking garage and you'd never realize it's there until you go. And Ponce Market is connected to the busiest recreational walking path and it goes for MILES.

8:00 onwards, you have to connect the pedestrian paths directly to the station network rather than just 'near' like how you did at 8:48. And a new path for each station network.

Very handy episode. I was looking at trying to work with station tracks in my build. But the tutorials I could find are from years ago. Same goes for asset editor tutorials, which was my plan B. I want to use a monorail station with Vanilla+ monorail track and 6 lane road. I think I need a trackless station asset. But the tricky park is the paths to the station track like you found.

Alright an idea. For something Tasmanian inspired, should definitely take inspo from Launceston and the cataract gorge, it sits just outside the middle of town and it’s such an amazing place, would nestle in perfectly in the hills and could use a cable car to get around (this is something they’re proposing for the gorge) and it would be a great tourist spot. Just an idea

I noticed you were doing the pathways wrong for your custom station. While some pedestrians will still use it (as you saw), most won’t be able to. It is important you adapt the pathways if you want the station to work. I would highly recommend watching Akruas’ video on how to build completely custom stations, where he explains how to properly connect pathways to custom tracks. Pretty cool build though!
