I agree, you've got to love your Hoya purely for its foliage because, most of the time, that's what you have (you can't hold on to them just in case they bloom). I live in a fairly cool part of Australia and I found one of the best things I ever did for my Hoya was place them on a warm sunny window sill and occasionally open the window to give them fresh air too. That seemed to kick start their growth at such a rate, in a way that a grow light never could.

Painful to watch someone falling out of love with plants & loosing the passion. Plants demand & teach us patience - it seems like a lesson still to be leant. Plants bring joy & help us to remain grounded and to appreciate the simple beauty of nature.

I don't think patience is the problem. When you suddenly lose 8 hours a day of time and have other obligations on top of that, time and priority become more influential than the amount of patience.

What was that hoya on the hoop that you got from a cutting. I like it hehe I feel odd when I loose interest in plants. But I'm lucky to have a couple of people I can fob them off on hehe. I have quite a few Hoyas, but not those, I think they're so adorable! I Love both of them somehow I feel they're probably pricy, I don't know, never saw any of them before until now in your vedeo. Thanks again for sharing and be YOU, nothing wrong with sharing your feelings about how you feel about certain plants that don't work well for you.
