The fact that Vessel planned three albums that began with The Night Does Not Belong to God and ends with Euclid, weaving parts of both songs together and ending in a positive place of self forgiveness, acceptance and a willingness to move on. A masterpiece! If you get into the lore, it's fun, but these songs are about life. They speak directly to your heart if you've experienced any of these things throughout life. The key of this song is joyous and gives you a feeling of hope. We could all use that.

The first time I heard this song, I sobbed. I sobbed because it's nostalgic, it's poetic, and it's written as a ballad. The ending where their song The Night Does Not Belong To God is echoed through the outro, I sobbed even harder. TNDNBTG was the first Sleep Token song that ever made me cry. Euclid (pronounced "u-klid") feels like an acknowledgement of Vessel's past self, a well-intended goodbye letter to his childhood and young adulthood. It's an ode to the changes that maturity brings and all the growing pains that come with it. You're right, Vessel has a way of singing right to your heart. There's an earnestness about him that is disarming. I hope that never changes.

Lol Elucid, it's Euclid pronounced ''U Klid'' and it means 'Glorious' or 'Renowned'. Euclid is also the 'Father of Geometry' and the so named Euclidean Geometry. I don't think that this song is math related but I wouldn't put it past Vessel to put an even deeper meaning hidden in this song. As others have said you should listen to The Night Does Not Belong To God and Euclid back to back. They are the same base melody but TNDNBTG is in the minor scale and Euclid is in the major. This is probably the most beautiful song of theirs to hear live. I was crying at the concert ❤ When you said that it could be you that he’s speaking to, it reminded me of why I fell in love with this band to begin with. In the aftermath of committing self harm, I was cleaning myself up and I put on some music just to keep me company. And the song “Are you really okay?” came on. And in that song, there are the lyrics “please don’t hurt yourself again” and it was the very first time in my life that someone had ever asked me not to hurt myself. For once somebody wasn’t berating me and telling me to think of others for once, to not be so selfish, that su*side was the ‘easy way out’. Instead someone just flat out asked me not to please not hurt myself. It will be one year next week since the last time I hurt myself, because Vessel asked me not to.
