I think it's because we like the fantasy of certain bags and in real life they don't always match up to it. I know for me when I am looking at a bag to buy I practically story board it in my mind what I'm going to do and wear with the bag, and how great I'll feel once I have it. Then I get it, none of those things transpire, and into the black hole of my closet it goes.

In my collection some bags get used more than others and that is ok. Most of the time I am in a top handle or a shoulder bag like a Chanel classic flap. However, if I am exercising or going for a walk I use my Baggallini nylon crossbody/belt bag. Not every bag is meant for everyday and are used for certain occasions. Good video!

Thank you, Shikma! It's so hard being a collector, and not using everything in our collections, but some pieces are just too good to let go! And I highly recommend this Coach clutch! It's very rare- only 100 were made, but it's oh so good!

I have a small canvas Fendi bag that I've never carried because it's so small. It's an evening bag but it's too casual for a nice night out and too small for everyday. And, thanks to you and your relentless Celine Boogie inspiration, I have a dreamy olive green Boogie on the way. Arrives in two days. Yay. Will I carry it? I'm not really a handbag person (more cross body/shoulder), so we'll see!

I think you’ll carry a lot of these bags once it gets cool. Summer is very restrictive for handbags , imo. So many more opportunities when is not 90 degrees! Btw, you look great in the RL shirts. Such a classic look!

Totally understand where you are coming from with these, most of them seemed like Fall bags, or special event bags. I have two bags I haven’t carried yet, my holy grail bags, ( the eye love you bags ) they are way bigger than I expected but I can’t wait to go to LV walking in with one, their eye balls are going to pop 🤣
