Love that you left the oopsies in there. A lot of folks seem to run into those and end up discouraged and frustrated eventually just giving up. Kuddos for transparency. Even folks that do it all the time run into difficulties sometimes

Caleb, this is by far the most instructive video on spraying I've seen. Thanks so much for excellent teaching!

I am making sure my wife looks and studies this video. She purchased some furniture to redo and hopefully sell. She wants to spray paint a new finish and wants to do it herself, she is good at roller and brush but wants to be able to do it quicker and efficiently. Very informative and hopefully she will get good information from your advice. Stay safe sir and enjoy Workbenchcon 2023, maybe you'll be a speaker in 2024. Will have to look into going next year myself.

Thanks, glad I could be a help! Like most shop processes it’s just about getting everything tested and dialed in before you go to the real project. It’s been fun so far! I’ve presented in some form the last 3 years, it’s nice to just be an attendee again for a break.

Ok, this was a really, really good video. I’m a novice and have used a really cheap sprayer that blows so much air/product it’ll knock over a small project. I got really discouraged and put the sprayer up on the shelf about 2 yrs ago. Now I have some tools to go back and try again. I don’t think I’m using a HVLP. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice! Confused on the seat back jig, and maybe it's my naivete with CNC, but couldn't you flip the seats and have that carved by the CNC?
