Tiffany would have never thought of that!! I was just thinking what could I use instead. I typically avoid the comment section but I'm glad I looked. If you line the can with cling wrap you could get it out easy or make it by spreading out the rice and doing it cookie cutter style with the can! Thank you Tiffany!

You can also use the can the Spam came in as a mold. If you line the inside with cling-film you can put the rice inside and pack it down, then pull the cling-film up out of the can and the rice will be shaped the same way. Perfect size since it is the same shape as the spam!

Please thank your mom for appearing in this video and teaching us how to make these. I was so happy to see her - she looks great! I also appreciated knowing how to make these without a mould. I grew up eating Klik - which is the Canadian version of SPAM. My mom would slice it and fry it and I loved it. I am going to be trying this!

I just made this and everyone loved it! They gobbled it up so quickly and kept asking for more even though I wasn't even finished assembling them haha XD The only thing I changed was I used roasted seaweed snacks instead of nori cuz I didn't have any, but it still turned out great! Nori is still thw same as swhat you would call seaweed snacks honestly here in hawaii theres at least 2 types of nori i know the regular one and the sushi nori is what i call it and you can make spam handrolls for them on the go its just a small ball of rice regular snack nori and small rectangles of spam hope this helps

Tried this. Wayyy to salty even with the reduced salt spam. I can’t seem to find a good sauce recipe anywhere. I tried equal parts soy sauce and it was way better but still not as good as the one I had at 7/11

Not yet......but I do have some original electronic compositions on Soundcloud. One is called "In Guinea..." which was composed in 1997 on my old sampler, drum machine, another sound source and my sequencer driving the whole thing. The other is a new song called "Indecisive Glass" which was composed on my iPad using the Korg "Gadget".

when we don't have a mold available. we line plastic wrap in the spam can and add the rice. press down and pull out the plastic wrap. . then the rice and the spam stay the same size. . .just an idea.

Omgahhh, I love how easy this was. I eyeballed the teriyaki sauce too and I didnt even bother to taste my sauce until the whole shebang was done and it came out perfect. Only thing I did differently was added furikake and a bit of vinegar to my rice mixture before shaping it. And, omg, mother is darling. I love her. You should do more videos with her! She's a hit! I love her style!

i practically lived on this stuff in Hawaii. theyre a good quick snack slash meal. i think they cost 1.50 so i would buy 2 and drinks and be ready to keep going till i got to a restaraunt or home

Thank you for this video, after 17 years of living in Hawaii, I made my way back to the mainland with a double musubi maker in tow as a parting gift from my job. I always bought my musubi’s from Foodland because I loved their sauce and 7-11 stopped selling the teriyaki ham musubi.
