My study suggestion, which I used to learn radio electronics in the 1980's; hand write / copy ever single word and illustration in the study guide. You read it, write it, proof read it, and when you're finished, even if you didn't really pay attention, you "know" it. My best friend passed the part 107 test on his first try and said it wasn't all that difficult. I have thought about it, but really have no reason to take it, I'm just a hobby drone flyer.

Hi Ledanne. I found your channel searching for new mavic experiences, and now I'm a follower of your refreshing adventures and addictive smile. As an airline pilot I use the phonetic alphabet every day, but it baffles me that its required knowledge for even the most advanced dronepilot. Study hard and good luck. Ill guess the exam will allow for more locations to fly your drones? And speaking of phonetics. Being a dane myself, it joys me that theres a "dane" in your name. :-)

muf722: Passing the FAA part 107 test allows you to "make money" with your drone videos. Without that license it is illegal to make profit from them - illegal to monetize youtube videos containing video taken with a drone.

Thank you 😊 I go by dane as well too. For the FAA I have to learn how to read the Sectional Aeronautical Charts and it's very confusing 😅
