One of the most durable and reliable vehicles ever made. It is basically a 3rd generation Valiant. Those 318's, will run forever on the basic of maintenance, The Torque Flite transmission was also very durable. I know several people who have put well over 300 000 miles ( 480 000kms) on their original powertrains. Not only that, they are very comfortable vehicles as well. i owned the Plymouth version of these vehicle back from 2000 to 2005. Only reason I got rid of it was because the body was rotting away. I bought it for $900 back in 2000 with 461000kms and junked it at 602000kms, in 2005. This was a 1988 Plymouth Caravelle Salon, which is the same as the Plymouth Gran Fury in the States. It was called Caravelle Salon in Canada. What a tough and reliable car.

What does 106,000 kms translate to in miles? Around 75,000-80,000 miles? Any plans on selling the white/blue one?

+Terrence Gold When you say that you "picked this car up for a good price". What is a good price for a car like this? Sorry I don't want to just come right out and ask you what ya paid as that would be kind of rude but you know what I mean. :) I have bought and owned a few older cars but they have all been pre 1973. Right now I am restoring a 1964 Ford Fairlane hence my KZbin profile pic BUT lately some late 70's & 80's cars have been catching my eye as your car did..

GeorgeBonez this car id say is worth between 3 & 4000.00, I paid $700.00. Unique circumstances. If you look hard, you can find a decent one for about 1500 (canada /bc)

+Terrence Gold OMG! Yeah you should be thrown in jail ! hahaha Juzzz kidding. :) I have let many opportunities get past me at the local car auctions in my area in past years. Ive been out of the car game for years but I am finally at a point in my life (in other words Im getting old) where I am appreciating cars that I once didn't value as I should have. Man you got a GREAT DEAL on that car. I would love to take a spin in that car because its from my days as a late teen. I graduated High School in 1988 haha

GeorgeBonez nice! I love how brazenly upright it is against modern cars when parked. It REALLY stands out these days. I've tinted all the windows , now it looks like Joe Pecsi would roll up in haha
