This is a short video of me taking delivery of my Grom last week. I have really been enjoying my time on two wheels with mini bikes and this Grom is evidence of that. Huge shout out to Mike and the team over at RC Hill Honda of Deland FL. They really helped me out.Enjoy the video I have more to come. Thanks for watching, Stay Fresh and God Bless Fam!

YOU have sufficiently inspired me to trade in my '94 Yamaha V-Max on a '23 Black Grom yesterday. Mine came from Love Honda in Homosassa. I have 2 other big bike Hondas but I can no longer swing my leg up over the V-Max seat (75 years old), plus the V-Max needs a bunch of work (carbs & tires). Funny how a lot of Grom riders also have a bigger motorcycle.

This is pretty amazing. I was at RC Hill Honda standing exactly where you took off from on your new Grom. I came from Lake Panasoffkee on the other side of the state as my first stop in a search for a 2010 Honda VFR 1200F as they had one traded in there. There's had a lot of miles on it and I eventually found one in Marietta Georgia I bought from a private owner. I also have a '94 Yamaha V-Max and a 2014 CB1100. Lately I have thought I wanted to buy a Grom just to make short rides around the house. The big bikes are fine and very powerful, but they all weigh 600lbs. My best riding of my life was on a 1975 RD350 Yamaha two-stroke. I believe Honda has the right approach in bringing out these little bikes at an affordable price to rope in new buyers and supply riding matieral for us old men that still want to ride. I am 75. I would seriously consider trading in my 27 year old yellow V-Max

Such a small world! I’m sorry you couldn’t make it happen with VRF. I actually was at a bike contest a few years ago and saw a RD350. They look incredible. If they still made those I would definitely want one. I agree a Grom in your garage is pretty sweet for those trips around town. In your case it’s even better because you have the more powerful bikes for other kinds of riding. I’m loving the fact you are still riding👊🏾 I’m in the works for some new Grom content so keep a look out for it. Thanks for the comment I can’t believe you happened to see yourself from that day.

I own a Harley iron 1200 Sportster and a Honda Grom. I never ride the Sportster its hot in the summer and it has horrible gas milage. The grom is super cheap and gas is like $2 to fill up. Insurance is $20 full coverage and you get tons of compliments from people. Its funny how i spent $10k for a harley and only $3k for the grom and grom is way better.

That has been my experience also! The Grom is liked everywhere I go. I have had the few odd interactions where people didn’t like it but they were light hearted dislikes. What I got from it was that they were more upset that they would feel less like a rider on a small bike 🤷🏾‍♂️. Everything so far with Grom has been a win so I’m happy to hear another rider with similar backgrounds agrees! Thanks for watching.

Sweet little bike. I love the colors and the look. I have a clone. I feel the same way though it is an absolutely awesome little bike to ride. Truly Harley Davidson's aren't for everybody. If you're not mechanically inclined just the consistent occasional maintenance can become overbearingly Expensive. I didn't get my Harley because it rode great I got it because they look cool doing wheelies. Lol. I got the clone mostly so I can practice in front of my house without irritating my neighbors also to be part of some of those group rides.

Thanks man, I agree I think this color is awesome! I actually have modified razors bikes just so I can practice wheelies with little concern about noise or damage due to failed attempts 🤞 lol. You are definitely right with the cost on the Harleys. I still love the sound of them but I think it was the best move to trade in. Enjoy that clone! And thanks for the comment!

Nice video and congrats on your new toy. I agree, knowing a great dealership is priceless, I’ve alway had great experiences with mine in Oregon too. I’ve been hooked on Honda since my 90 Trail in the 70’s (yes, 1970’s). I finally got tired of waiting for a tan Hunter Cub to show up from Honda USA (I don’t like red), so I have put a deposit on my new ‘23 Grom ABS. The white color wasn’t that appealing to me, but when I saw a HONDA ACCESSORIES PHANTOM CAMO GRAPHICS KIT 2022 GROM #0ST10-K26-B00 hanging on the dealer’s wall, I started grinning. It should be wrapped and ready for pickup on coming Tuesday, in time for my order from Webike Japan to arrive. On the way is a ‘Hunter Cub’ sized rear rack; KIJIMA Adventure Carrier, among other neat mods also on the way; a KITACO Skid Plate, a G-Craft Headlight Guard, and a KIJIMA Meter Guard Mounting Bracket. Still on the list of future mods, T-Rex Racing Adventure Engine Guard Crash Cages and their Grom Center Stand. Hand Guards with Barkbusters Wind Deflectors, and a Doubletake Adventure Mirror Base Set are also on my ‘must get’ list. Fair Winds.

I have heard nothing but good things about the Honda Trail 90. I’m super excited for you. The white Grom is already very unique so to get that graphics kit on it will make it even more special. I think it just adds to the excitement when you already order parts for your soon to be bike. On Tuesday be sure to tell your loved ones that if they don’t see you for a large amount of time that you didn’t disappear you are just enjoying the Grom 😉Thanks for watching 👊🏾

@@mintmotos3650 - thanks for the kind comments. With my decades of moto-camping experience to rely on, I’m familiar with some of the basic mods an ‘off the showroom floor’ bike needs to start its life with. I’ve gone through three NC700X’s and dozens of 1000 mile travel days on them. For this bike, I was initially drawn in by seeing a brown Navi, but realized it would not be the right bike for me. I am retired and spend tons of time outdoors and dispersed camping. Due to my age, my latest NC700XD is now too big and heavy for me to right up if I dump it out by myself and I’ve had to curtail too many desired cross country trips on it. Since the first day of the introduction of Hunter Cubs to America, my dealer had me on the top of their list for a TAN Hunter Cub as soon as that color became available (I really, really, don’t like red) but my patience finally ran out. I’ve never paid any attention to Groms over the years, but the brown Navi forced me to consider it. I literally saw, studied, and bought within 12 hours (the internet is great) this new Grom. Then within a few hours of closing the deal, scowled the internet (finding Webike Japan and T-Rex Racing) seeking the Grom mods necessary for MY needs and personality. NEVER let the journey end. Fair Winds.

@@mintmotos3650 pretty much the candy blue 22 abs model fused with the SP Pearl on the 23. Basically replaced but made it more fancy with the stickers compared to their blue model. Outside of that yeah they’re 100% the same. I wanted an SP but they were pushed here until November from what I was told. Yes I rode it for about 2hrs home. I definitely did local roads on the way back. The Grom is perfect for 50 mph and below roads. I am 5ft 10 and about 160 lbs and I could get the bike up to 60 fully stock no tuck. I hate to say it because I love the Grom but as a ride every bike it could do it but definitely not comfortably. If you mod the Grom (cam, big bore, exhaust, tune and so on) it will definitely close the gap ,but you may have to look at a 300cc bike and up for what you’re looking for.
