Hey stew, nice video! I think it‘s really cool to have brushless motors on a whoop. I‘ve just built me a brushed whoop about 2 or 3 weeks ago and i have aleady my second set of motors on it, because they don‘t last very long. I think brushless motors last longer. Love your content. Keep up the great work.
@GhostRider-kr2qc6 жыл бұрын
Wonder how the motors will hold out! On my 1106 motor the shaft came out of the bell when pushing the prop on! The shaft is press fitted into the bell so now I drill out the prop so that it is not so tight. Also super glued the shaft into the bell. Seems ok for now. But I wondering if that would be an issue with the D0603 motors. Anyways would be fun to have! Brush less is always better than brushed! Hay Stew I also noticed that you did not follow the 80% rule.

I've heard that these 06xx motors don't hold up as well as the brushed motors we've been using for whoops, I'll be interested to see you come back to this after you've put a few hours through them. GIVEAWAY: I don't know if the ESCs support DSHOT commands out of the box, but that's what I'm the most interested in. More thrust is all well and good, but I need that turtle mode, man.

Im glad we are finally starting to see these brushless whoops actually be something that is useable. . this may not be the best one but it may be one of the lightest ones.

I really like the fact that it got dshot and coming with it the turtle Mode. So you dont have to run through the flat/house as much. Also i love the fact that it got OSD on it. With my current whoop class quad when it starts to loose oomph i never know if a hair got tangled in the props or the battery is already getting low.
