This is a showing of my mini portable washing machine by Best Choice, I purchased this on Amazon for around $94 if anyone's interested. This is my first video of me showing how to use something that I have gotten that isn't craft related, so bear with me because I stumbled a lot on my words explaining but hopefully you got the point. Also this message is for my concerned viewers. I did drain and rinse the cloths before I put them in the spin cycle. If you noticed in the video I stated that I am going to run them through again and be back. I didn't show that part to keep the video a little shorter. Also the plug in the back is an inch above the base of the machine and also has legs under the machine which is another inch. My shower drain also has a dip in the center so my plug never gets wet. Someone else has a video about this on KZbin as well and you can see for yourself. I really appreciate the warnings and my husband has since covered the back with duck tape and plastic just incase.
The blue and white one is no longer on Amazon but I found one exactly like mine with almost 5 star rating in black and white. Link below

Actually they did, but the were much larger, heavier (metal) and I believe all models had a pump. Wash section and spin section. Spin was rough on socks. Modern technology. Light, smaller and this particular model utilizes gravity to drain. They also sell automatic small washer. They cost a bit more, but these are great for washing anywhere.

@@Patrick-ps4ez YES!! I did! About a month ago. First washing machine I ever had. I am SO happy with it. I run it in the shower. So can fill it with the hand-held shower head that has a long hose on it and then drain it into the shower drain too. When I'm through, it fits nicely right beside the bathroom sink. Perfect!

Got a tip for those who fill it with a bucket: if you don’t use a Liquid fabric softener in the final rinse, and you still have another load to do, don’t drain that final rinse water! Just add soap and use the water as the next load’s wash water!

Portable washers with spinners are awesome. I've been using mine for a few year's. The spinner is amazing and the clothes come out practically dry. I use my portable washer all the time. The agitation is strong and the clothes seem much cleaner. I get to control the water, the rinsing and the spinning. I make my own laundry detergent too... Less sudsing. Love it!❤

suzy Hall I use a teardrop of detergent. Since this type of washer has a very strong agitation it will help to wash the clothes more efficiently. It is best to use a low sudsing Detergent too. I have been using a homemade detergente, soap nuts/ berries and love Method detergent/softner. As you get the hang of the washer... there's some things that don't require a lot of water to rinse.

This works perfectly. The only problem I have with it is the fact that it is a bit smaller then I thought. Clothes come out CLEAN and are pretty much 80 to 95% dry. if you are thinking of getting one of these washer I believe you should just jump the gun and buy one. The pumps are a bit weird and frustrating at first; but once you get the hang of it, it becomes soo simply.

@@katydid1903 no because when you spin it automatically opens the drain so you can't fill the wash side. Spinning usually only takes 3 minutes so it's really not that much of a time waste. Mine has an inlet for the spin side so you could add water while it's spinning, but my usual method is wash spin wash as a rinse then spin again. This method works to get all the dirty water out of your clothes.

As for electricity use hardly any...I used mine for a month in my house before I went full time living in my RV and my electric bill never changed from any other monthly normal charge. Also, this machine gets the clothes VERY clean. Hope this helped you.

Based on your review, I decided to buy this! I've been doing my laundry by hand for 7 years. It's not a big deal--the washing part, that is--but wringing out wet clothes--that part is tiring. At first, I was looking at those spinners, but for about the same price, might as well buy a complete portable washer/dryer. I'm doing my first load right now!

Lol! Unless your kid's are rolling around in black dirt all day, you're probably seeing a lot of the dye from their colored clothing. However, this washer has a very powerful agitator and spinner! It definitely removes the dirt and as you said, almost dries your clothing in the spinner. I purchased mine last year and I notice that if I evenly layer my clothing in the spinner, it will not rattle or bump around when it starts up. I love this washer and actually prefer it to the full size washer I had before.

If it's plugged into a gfci protected outlet it doesn't matter. If thier is any kind of conductivity between the hot wire and ground it will trip, and in a bathroom you should be using a gfci protected outlet. "Ground Fault Circuit Interupter" or in the uk it would be an RCD I think. That is why the current electrical code at least here in michigan U.S.A. requires GFCI outlets in the bathroom and kitchen.

I couldn't find it anywhere online and a few weeks later, someone was selling one close to my place, and had barely used it. My apartment building has ONE dryer and washer for 21 apartments. While the washer works fine, the dryer can't manage to dry half a batch of clothes even after they spent 1.5 hour in there. They're still damp and small (did I mention we have to pay 1.50$ for every use? 4.50$ for one load is getting pretty expensive). This machine has been a LIFE SAVER. Yes it's more time consuming but my clothes are pretty much dry after using the dry spin, and completely dry on a rack inside in a few hours. PERFECT if you don't have much space, honestly.

Just got mine this week and I have two points - first, you're supposed to hook the drain hose up to the side of the machine while it's running. And second, get that power cord out of the water!!! Great job! I think there was a lot of dyes coming out of the clothes the first time. Machine does a great job! One word of advice...store the machine with the lids open to cut down on bacteria and mold forming in your machine, until it dries out. Then, once it dries out, you can close the lids until next time. If you store it away with the lids closed, you’ll get a foul, nasty smell next time you go to use your machine.

This little machine actually washes very well! The spinner works well too. All around happy I bought it. My wrists are destroyed so washing and wringing by hand has become too painful to do anymore. The only thing I noticed about this washer is that if I put the timer more than 6 minutes, the motor seems to get pretty warm. I just bought one of these and love it. I just wanted to post a kind of fix for the little white door on the "dryer" (water extractor) side. So the white door does not catch on the outside door when you accidentally shut the outside door without first shutting the white inside door. Underneath the outside door is a single screw .... unscrew it, and then take a 2.5 x 2.5 inch piece of very thin and very pliable/bendy plastic and put a hole in the upper right-ish corner and then use the screw to hold the piece of plastic in place. It works great. Now when I accidentally shut the outer door the inner white door does not catch on it. The little white door, because of the tension on the hinge it has, even snaps in place automatically when I close the outside door. So all I have to do now is just shut the outer door.

There's a way you can use the water inlet on the right hand side and put water into the spinner to "rinse" your clothes. Although it wasn't done on this make of washer, it's still on the same principle.

Just found this video 😉 my bf puts a our portable AC on a step stool and drains into a water bottle (I think 5 gallon size) maybe you can use a metal step stool (from harbor freight) to keep the water from touching the bottom. And I neeeeeed one of these😉 thank you for sharing!!!

So like regular big washers we are used to(and like the instructions suggest with these portable washers,)...wash, drain, move clothes over to the spin cycle section to get the dirty water out, then move them back for a final rinse using fresh water, drain, then move them again over to the spin cycle for the final ringing out. This would be an even cleaner wash;) Cheers!

I took a chance and bought one all of it is the same except the brand and I'm completely satisfied with the performance, cleans my clothes bethat than at the laundry mat,but it is work don't kid yourself putting in the water draining it putting more water in rinsing still yet then the spin out(dryer part)is awesome cut that part works very well. If ya got the energy and no disabilities you r good to go.

not sure if you know but you can rinse your clothes in the spin section. Spin the clothes to get the soap out, then add water to the spinner for a minute or two (it will drain as you add the water in) then spin one more time. saves on water and time as you can wash and rinse/spin at the same time, so 2 loads at once :) you can do 3 loads in under 30 min ;)

People with more grease/oil in their hair knows it's Impossible to keep solid white pillow cases white and then alot of races don't need it and strip the oils and shit....I think she knows your not supposed to mix whites with color clothes but the pillow cases don't really matter it's gonna be kinda dingy over time anyway....

i bought 1 of these second hand for washing my dogs bedding , how i use it is , fill it up using the pipe it comes with im lucky it fits on my tap , so fill with warm water let it do the wash cycle then drain the water but leave the washing in the tub and fill now with cold water to rince( rinse) so the soap comes out put it back on wash let it swish for a while then drain again , then place clothes in the spinner to spin dry , great little washer and good to keep as a spare if my washing machine dies on me , if you place this in your bathroom you could fill it using the shower head
