Solid bow! Don’t let nay sayers talk down on it. Single cams killed a lot of deer and won a lot of tournaments before every company made all their bows dual cams. The hot wire and swift sights that come on the adapt are great sights.

Well done young man. The Adapt is an excellent option. One of my youngest(17) bought the Legit a couple years ago and planned to grow with it for 7-10 years. He has shot literally thousands of shots. It is a very, very good bow for the money. However, he too has had some issues with his. Immediately it was beating up fletchings and was difficult to correct. The bow shop has got it "ok" but it has an issue. It's still usable and good. He has harvested 2 deer so far and maybe another tomorrow. But he is looking at the Whitetail Legend plus or pro or something (replaced the Maxx). I looked at the Adapt Plus very seriously last year then shot it alongside the Whitetail Maxx, Alaskan XT, Species and Legit. The Species and Legit were noticeably overshadowed by the other 3. I ended up buying the Alaskan XT. All 3 of these were outstanding for the price point. I harvested 3 deer to date this season and have 1 more hunt tomorrow. I was going to encourage you to replace the tubed peep with a non-tube. They are much better. Look forward to watching you grow with the bow and as a man and hunter. All the best.

Appreciate the comment and the insight I’m for sure looking into a tubeless peep just seems like a better option and good luck on your hunt 👍

The single cam bows are really reliable. And you’re right about not NEEDING like a 70# draw weight. It’s the right arrow and broadhead. I draw about 60#’s with fixed broad heads and nearly everytime for years I get pass thru hits on deer, antelope and pigs to about 150+#’s. Something you might want to do is watch some videos on using a thumb release as it appears you are punching that thumb button and not pulling thru straight back causing thumb friction on the barrel knob to move it for firing. Look up “ bow only outdoors “ or “ whitetail fit” channels on some great tips and their techniques. Most people that punch any release will begin to time the punch as the pin floats by the spot you want to hit. This can lead to creating anxiety in your mind about “ am I timing this float correctly “ then you punch hoping to hit the mark. When you learn a different better technique you will become in control of the shot. In the long run having control creates confidence because you have developed that mindset you are in charge, not the pin as it passes by the target. Look up those videos and others to get some ideas to try. GOOD LUCK! 👍👍🔥

@@TMProductions23I went to a hinge this year and haven’t looked back. Killed my deer this year with the hinge too. I loved my button release, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the confidence I have in my hinge.

I love my BEAR adapt II at 70lbs 30" draw, I removed my grip completely, installed a non tubing peep, MX2 rest, running a front and back stabilizer, a CBE Trek Pro sight, easton 6.5mm match grade 300 spine shafts, I can stack arrows at all distances out to 70 yards where my eyes begin to let me down. Looks like you could shorten your arrows up quite a bit.

Sounds like this young man is just getting started in bow hunting. He made the right choice for where he is at on his journey. If he takes that bow, gets a non tube peep in it, has someone experienced help him paper tune it and correct some form/grip issues. He'll be shooting it just as well as his peers with new Matthew's. 🏹🎯
