Smartest L2 spammer ladies and gentlemen Actual advice though, you keep way overestimating the range of your spells and weapon arts. for example, Fortisacks is a very close range lightning nuke, that can be used as a madness punish if that's gonna be part of your build. Pack some long range stuff, like frenzied burst or Bolt of Gransax weapon art to deal with kiters. Also Giant's flame cooks hard.

No one told him how to actually use placi's ruin? The beam part of the spell sucks but the initial explosion is very powerful. Just use it point blank in someone's face, Doing it from a jump is especially fast and useful for finishing off unsuspecting players.

Also, for the beam, while it basically sucks in pvp, it can still be aimed to an extent using the movement stick and if you're not locked on. Basically you move left as the beam moves right and you move right as the beam moves left, as if you're controlling recoil. I've caught a few people with it but don't depend on it.

I would recommend a bow build. Its unique and makes you look at how you play the game, as some things will have to be done differently. This is especially true for pvp. Greatbows and balistas are best as they do high damage in a single hit, but smaller bows can be used, its just harder. For pvp, its better to not lock on to people and instead manually aim your shot to hit people as its easy to roll through arrows. This is also why greatbows and ballistas are so popular as that one hit, while slow, hits like a truck. Greatbows and ballistas do really high poise damage making it impossible to tank one without flinching. While light bows with barrage can do high damage if you constantly hit the person. The bows i recommend i will lkst down below along with why. For the bow category: The black bow: has the moveset of shortbows and has the barrage ash of war, but the ash of war cant be changed. Ansbach's longbow: has the movest of shortbows and the ash of war is a spread shot attack, if closs enough can deal lots of damage. Use it like a cross bow. Short bow catergory: Bonebow: ash of war is good, is a better barrage, tracks enemies. Is in the dlc. Harp bow: its not good, but when you fire an arrow it plahs a note. Greatbow: Greatbow: only greatbow that can be infused. Golem greatbow: just a better greatbow, but cant be infused. Asho of war is good, can pierce enemies. Lion greatbow: considered the best bow in the game, ash of war is good, against big bosses melts health bars. If hou use radahns spears it gets a 20% physical damage increase. And as long as you have this bow equipped in your hand, meaning if you two hand a different weapon this goes on your back, you still get the damage increase from using the arrows with a different bow. Igons greatbow: a better golem greatbow. Can be infused with ashes of war. Does not get a damage bonus with the roar medallion sadly. Nor Godfrey icon which enhances chargeable ash of wars. For talismens i recomment using the arrow soaring sting, arrow sting, and sharpshot talismen. The two handed sword talisman does not work with bows and rellanas cameo does not boost barrage. Thats all i got to say for now have fun.

Zanny, sort them spells from attack & utility. Howl is a body buff not a attack spell Also, as someone who religiously uses faith builds, at least 60 faith will do the job but 80 faith is overkill. Messmer Spear is a great weapon for fire, Death Knight long Axe is a great for lighting and Euporia is amazing for holy

I have a insane build for madness (pun intended) probably not original though, 80 faith, flock canvas talisman and the weaker version, fire scorpion charm, aged ones exultation, for physic flame shrouding cracked tear and any thing else I guess, if you want to use frenzied burst swap out aged ones exultation for Godfrey icon with this build I 4 shot the golden hippo ng+5 using frenzied burst
